"Go to the War Table to find the Warden" Woooah boy.
I'm just gonna ignore what everyone else is probably thinking and say, Blackwall's recruitment?
I don't wanna be that guy, but seriously the enemies get option to go with a one handed sword and we don't?
What do you mean? Last I checked, we can use 1 handed swords.

That's what I'm guessing it means.

Was it just me?
Or did anybody grow 4 inches from just watching this?

I thought the same thing but it could also be an unrelated plot important Warden
Interesting summary at the end...

The Orlesian enemy was using without a shield.

"Go to the War Table to find The Warden"
Ooooooooooooh snap.
Also, from what I managed to make out of it, that ambient soundtrack. ![]()
Can't really tell what 'max detail' is when the video compression (and youtube conversion) takes out detail.
It's so preeeeeeeeeeeettttttyyyy....
For some reason, two things stuck out most to me from this:
1.) For the first time, I really noticed the SOUND. It sounded amazing - footsteps on grass going to footsteps on stone. And I LOVE how the companions talk in battle: "Solas needs help!" and Varric says something like, "We're coming, Solas!" when he goes down.
2.) Chain Lightning actually looks good. I was a bit underwhelmed when we first saw it at E3, but the lightning got fat and lovely and sparkly, and now it looks nice. I like nice visuals for my spells, especially since I'll likely take that one.

Sigh. I wish it was that.
Anyway. Not too exited about the gameplay. It's looking just as impractical as I have guessed. The fellow played for less then 10 minutes and half of the health potions were gone. here I am hoping that at least they are common drops.

We don't know what difficulty he was playing on. At least as far as I'm aware. And besides, this person didn't really seem to know what he was doing as far as playing tactically goes - no I'm not talking about the tactical camera.
they autoreplenish at skyhold an i think camps too.

I really wouldn't make that judgement based on this video. That guy played kinda really badly. (Makes sense, considering he claimed to have never played Dragon Age or any other recent RPGs)
The game is gorgeous, but it's becoming readily apparent that a lot of developers don't know what to do with the added power of the current gen. Lot's of pretty particle effects. That seems to be everyone's answer. lol
that combat ... such sadness,
The Orlesian enemy was using without a shield.
We're not able to wield a one handed sword without a shield? ![]()
The combat speed hasn't changed much from DA2 :/
The smoke visuals looked great though.
So when Solas falls Varric shouts, "On our way Solas!"
Love it!
I also noticed at the end it looked like Cassandra's leg was up on the rock like she's resting, That was awesome.

Yeah, that didn't look like efficient gameplay to me at all.
With a more tactical approach it's possible you wouldn't even burn one potion.
