I totally missed the music when the actions/battles are taking place. Not really crazy about the actions gameplay. A little too chaotic, fast and confusing.
I liked the guy who made that gameplay video, he/she just showed real live action (without using tactician mode) of the combat in quick switches (Kind of what i do too in DA2 )

Same problem, I was gonna go to sleep at midnight but then something got my attention and then the video dropped and now... it's half past 4.
There better be a Tactics setting which will stop Solas from continually going toe-to-toe with melee opponents. 
OMG, love the way the Inquisitor shuts the rift. The sound is awesome too.

So I wonder if more videos like this will start popping up. The other youtuber posting pictures was in an entirely different area. Though it's likely that they'd only allow the recording of a certain section of the game.

Damn. If those earlier screenshots were indeed Halamshiral/The Winter Palace, and we get a video of that, I might not watch it. I certainly want to leave that area unseen for release, if possible (gameplay-wise, I mean).

Youtube always downscales videos somewhat even at 1080p. Plus we already know that while the game is pretty, it's not meant as a hyper-demanding tech demo. So long as it looks as good as that and is well optimized, I'm very much fine.

True for that but still shows people need not worry about system requirements at-least if the whole thing is optimzed like that.

Nope. You have to use a shield with a one-handed weapon.
they actually said this ? pretty sure you could use a one-handed sword in da:o without a shield. not sure you could do it in da2 but since dai is basically the best of both worlds ... i would venture in saying you can do that - use a sword without a shield.
If an enemy can use a sword one-handed, I'm sure that will be an option for the Inquisitor and co. as well.
However - you may not have access to some of the skills in the Sword & Shield tree that require a shield.
At this point any footage/news of Dragon Age excites me even more.

Normally, I would do the same, for Fennecs, rams and the like as well. BUT WHAT IF THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEIR CODEX ENTRIES?!?

If that's the max settings I wouldn't be too worried about it. Most of the games I play on my PC are on max settings and they seem to be as demanding as this one. The only thing that really consumes the performance are heavy particle effects, like smoke, wind, moving clothes and etc. That being said the frosbite engine is pretty heavy. What's more important is an good coding.
Sound design is great. Animations don't seem changed much from DA2. Some of the particle effects are overkill.
Can't wait to see that region at something more like this level of fidelity...
