The rest of Thedas has Hawke, the Inquisitor and possibly the Warden, all pro-qunari arguments are invalid ^^

As ridiculous as it sounds, it's not a bad argument. Although more than "Hawke+Warden+Inquisitor", it's a matter of having PCs on their side.

If there's a Qunari Invasion, it's most likely that we'll play as the defending side. Blights are even more dire and we are going to face a new sort of End Of The World As We Know It in DA:I, so a Qunari attack is not something a given PC couldn't stop. In theory, another thing is what Bioware might want for their story.

Also, I advise against getting too fond of Southern Thedas and thinking that everything is going to happen there. The continent is much bigger than that. People have been asking for a game set in Tevinter or Rivain for ages (no pun intended), and those places seem to be the ideal scenario for a Qunari Invasion plot. After all, they would be the first to be attacked.

Well as uniters/leaders it'd be nice too but I just meant them personally vs the entire qunari military. But taking turns so it's not too unfair :P

As far as we know, the problem between templars and mages only arises  during the very beginning of the game and after it is done. A problemn of qunari like in the "2nd" year of DAI is not something I find strange. In that case, they would use the weaknesses of "infidels" and I can understand that.

Too much stuff to cram into one game. Qunari invasion would fit as a primary or secondary plot for the next game, rather than small plot for Inquisition or some dlc for it. Although it wouldn't be something really reasonable for Qunari to do. Surely they've got a powerful army but against combined might formed from some human nations, no chance. Even some old enemies could unite. I doubt that, for example, Orlais would allow Qunari to get a foothold in Thedas. Also, the continent is big, forces would've been spread too thin. Hard to keep them supplied etc.

Arcling, for any other fantasy race I would say that you're right. But I have to think that supply lines would be one thing the Wunari could actually do without after the initial invasion and capturing of some inland territory.

They waste nothing. So it's not like they're burning buildings and crops during their invasion and battles (not intentionally anyway). And they masses dedicated to farming, smithing, crafting, etc.

Once the foot soldiers claim an area, I can see them bringing in their non-combatants and putting them to work to supply the next push with all the efficiency of a well piled machine.

And since the Qunari waste nothing, I can see them putting any converts back to work as well.

Captured supplies would never go to waste and any captured soldiers may eventually return to the battlefield to fight for the Qun.

Their wish to convert or kill means that a percentage of the numbers thrown against them will convert. Even if it's just one percent, that's still more troops than they had before.

Like I said, though; any other race but the Qunari and I'd totally agree with you.

PC's shouldn't always be relied upon. I made my canon Revan and Exile into evil Sith lords and Bioware made them into 'redeemed' Jedis. The Warden is first and foremost a Grey Warden. His/Her interference in Fereldan politics is an irregularity, as it was a time of Blight it is excusable. Wardens as a rule shouldn't interfere in politics or conflicts between nations. Remember Stroud/Alistair in Kirkwall. They left on their mission ignoring the attacking Qunari.

Hawke, might get involved but he/she is either a wanted fugitive or viscount of Kirkwall. I imagine as Viscount they would be concerned about facing the Qunari. Otherwise Hawke is fleeing and hiding from the Chantry. Why should they help them against the Qunari?

The Inquisitor, is entirely your own figure. They are free to express their own views and as leader of an international independent organization are free to determine their own fate and that of the Thedas. We might have some affiliation with the Chanrty considering the early history, heraldry and personnel or the Inquisition, but we are a separate organization beholden to one.

Lol you're taking my comment way too seriously, I was just saying the PCs are such one-person armies they could probably take the qunari invasion force by themselves
