I think he was getting Legolas and Gimli confused. He was saying Gimli but appeared to be referring to Legolas.

 

I love how he describes the characters.

 

The bad was the combat being difficult? that to me is the good.

Also, stabbing people in DAI looks like fun.

I noticed that Solas, Varric and Cassandra "die" fairly easily in combat.

Well he lied about a few things when he first started telling Cassandra the story in DA2.  Maybe she's referring to that?

VARRIC CAME WITH CASSANDRA.

 

 

LOVED the conversation between Cassandra and Varric - and this would seem to confirm that the Inquisition happens very shortly after Varric is "questioned" by Cassandra. Do we know where Varric was taken when he meets Cassandra in DA2? The trip between there and Haven might have taken a couple weeks - so there hasn't been a lot of time for these two to get to like each other.

 

I do like that even with the ending of DA2, these two are pretty antagonistic toward each other (at least at first - who knows how they progress through the game). It makes sense, really, that they'd have trouble being in the same party together without snarking at each other.

Normally I love watching gameplay, but that was practically painful to watch. Why don't they give the chance to play to someone who actually knows how to play? Plus some of his commentary made it obvious he know little to nothing about DA.
