I understand that. I get hit on a lot at work and just trying to work. I'm trying to learn the subtleties of it in order to hone in on a specific one.

Well the subtleties are infinite and unlimited. Is she looking at you when you talk to her? Is she smiling? Is she finding reasons to be near you? Is she touching you accidentally? Is she actively interested when you talk about what you are doing? Are you friends on social networking? How would you objectively rate your attractiveness? How would you objectively rate her attractiveness? What's the age difference?

 

What happens if you initiate conversation? Is she engaged, interested? What kind of clothes does she wear, are they different around you? Is she laughing at your dumb jokes?

 

Plus there are different degrees of interest, maybe she's interested enough to go somewhere, just that though, or maybe something more, something less.

 

This could go on forever really.
