I love that banter carries on if you click on stuff (like that map) and into battle. I hated how in some areas you would just have to stop and listen to the banter or it would be negated by triggering a battle or clicking on something.

can't watch it. I tried to watch one earlier and, apart from the fact it was cringeworthy to watch, whenhe referred to Varric as 'the gimli character' Cass as 'the chick' and Solas as 'the bald dude' i was like 'nope, im gone.'

 

Yes, i know he was probably completely new to the franchise, therefore didnt really know much, but theres a thing called research. If youre gonna upload a video/review on something be professional enough to know who and what youre talking about!

The companion AI was worse though... Cassandra was hacking away at the air for about a minute or so because she was too high up and neither the player nor the computer could be bothered to move her to a better position.

Probably just a little bug.  There's a reason why the game was delayed!

Thank GOD I'm not the only one who was cringing I practically yelled at the screen "Why are you just standing there?" A couple of times. :/

Glad i'm not the only one who found it annoying that he only used his abilities and never auto-attacked.

Hopefully some of these bugs(?) will be fixed with the extra month.

If this is the "Gimli" guy, he said in the other video that he didn't want to go toe-to-toe with enemies playing as a rogue, so he chose to stealth around and just use abilities when they were up. Not the most engaging strategy.

 

Also, I'm pretty sure he drank a potion when his health was full. He then gave the last one to Varric while poor, perpetually near death Solas went without. #accidental Assquisitor

Not everybody has the same opinion as yours about the video if you want to enjoy the cringeworthy moments of the video go right ahead but don't be calling people "whiny" just because their opinions of the video differ from yours.

The graphics, the locations, the SOUND? Gorgeous.

 

There are some pathing glitches, like Cass doing the running man while the Inq talked to Fairbanks and her wiffleballing it against Maliphant at the end. (Though the player may have not moved her cus she was still keeping hate and yet seemed not to be taking damage. Exploitation FTW, I guess?) And the floating pillar tops in the dragon fight vid. However, I don't care much about AI-related issues b/c they're typically either fixable or working in my favor. And, given the limits on health and healing this time around, if one enemy mage is slower to launch that fireball at me than he could have been, I honestly won't complain. That's just how I feel about it.

 

The party banter btwn Cass and Varric was nice to hear, even though I'm really hoping the tone of it will change eventually. Its obvious Cass is trying, Varric. She's awkward, but she's trying. Give her a chance.

 

This is the first chance I've gotten to hear so much of Solas' voice at once. I am now considering playing thru the first time as an elf. I've never done that before, but a) he's the most exclusive romance, b ) what we've been shown/told of his personality so far seems fascinating, and c) that voice just may be too much to ignore. (That voice is almost as appealing as Fenris'. But its more zen. lol)

 

All in all, I am very happy with what we've seen of the final product so far. I can't wait till next month!

Some nice blood in the videos lately, I  am, pleased.

Though whst is up with the no auto-attacking? Rookies?
