On my first play through, i romanced Merril, on my second, Isabela.

 

Both romances were buggy as hell. Some of the dialogue never appeared and I had to use console command to access those dialogues, breaking the game several times and reloading it until I got it right.

 

At least when I romanced Merrill I slept with her, saw her new outfit, and Varric said "Well, except for Merril" At the end.

Isabela on the other hand, i got to the bed scene (with console command), but Varric didn't say she stayed with me. So I reload save BEFORE the bed scene, this time expecting kiss from her before fighting Orsino. Guess what never happened.

 

I kinda want to see how Aveline romance turns out, but also afraid of bugs at the same time

There's no Aveline romance; you just flirt with her but with no success.

Did you follow up on the romance lines with her?  It becomes a one night stand unless you insist on it being more than just that.  If you don't she just walks out.  If you do, you get additional lines from her stating her opinion on it, and why she thinks she will end up disappointing/hurting you.

 

Kaisershep is right, there is no Aveline romance, just a slight flirtation.  Merrill and Isabela are it in the female LI department.

There is no Aveline romance, aside from Varric she is the only one you can't romance. You can flirt but she only has eyes for Donnic. If she doesn't have him, she has no one

I had no problems with the Merrill romance. Haven't tried the others.
