You know I really wan't to like this game but I have to say, the combat does not look really good and the sound seems off. Ai is sport of terrible too.

Ok. Is it really that hard to make a video slowly hovering over all the abilities in all the skilltrees. Like wtf.
I just pause and un-pause when I see them do that. Though sometimes it's hard to pause just at the right moment because they're going so fast.

Dragon Age Inquisition - In-depth HANDS ON
Notably, when he takes over Solas and plays smart (while in action mode, even), everybody takes less damage. I think this is a good sign that a lot of the dying blunders have been people who probably aren't familiar with the game.

Well, finally someone who didn't completely suck at the game, good to see Jesse Cox doing his thing. And I feel ya, Jesse. Those constellation puzzles will have me murdering the hell out of some nugs too. We get easy combat settings, why not a setting for those of us who are puzzle-challenged? ![]()

Y U NO LOOK AT RIFT MAGE TREE?! That video only served to cement my unease regarding mage abilities. I... really didn't like the look of them. But we'll see.
And curse you Vivienne, I want to use that Amulet of Power! Although again, looking at that skill tree video I'm not sure why. The Rogue trees looked pretty cool to me, though.

Thankfully Jesse Cox is both a fan of the series and a competent player. That was the best video we've seen this week.

Yeah, wow. Because God forbid we actually have a prominent female character that isn't a love interest because we...y'know...want to and it's a valid choice. *******.

It frustrates me seeing this attitude, because those people actually think they're not being sexist. They don't consider that thinking a strong, female character is in a game to appease a certain audience is part of the problem.
It makes me quite sad.

Other than his comments on Cass and Varric, I liked the style of video he did. I took it as a funny way of saying 'Yeah, I don't know why I was asked to play this game'.
I thought it was interesting that Cassandra could deflect dragon breath (ice ball?) with her shield.
Oh, and this. Not sure if I liked it or not. Maybe a block nulling you from taking damage, dissipating the projectile, but sending one of that calibre straight back?

i think that it's a cool mechanic where if you time it just right you can deflect back magical attacks at the caster. where if you just constantly block as those tower shield guys then it just deflects of in different directions.

Humor/wit fail with this one. The Warrior/gender comment was so off base and mildly insulting. It makes the other less compelling game play vids look classy.

I thought it was interesting that Cassandra could deflect dragon breath (ice ball?) with her shield.
Ironically, the character he dissed provided the coolest aspect of the video.
The deflection makes sense, since some of the foes with the heavy shields deflect attacks.
