Still not quite sure what my Inquisitor's gonna be, still need more information on the specializations. But I guess either a Human male Warrior (Reaver/Champion) or Mage (Knight Enchanter/Rift Mage).

 

The only companion that's pretty much set in stone is Cassandra as the tank. As for the rest.. I'll have to decide while playing - leaning towards Varric/Sera and Solas/Vivienne, though.

Well I have searched for such a thread and didin't find it... Decided to create one, weird though... I remember I have seen one like these before how couldn't I find it!! BAH I am blabering, lets begin! Okay what will be your party build in Inquisition and why? tell it!

Reason: Most of the party is Elven lol...

haven't decided on which mage to bring with me, so far i'm leaning towards choosing dorian.

 

reason: gotta love the banter between varric and cassandra. i really enjoyed it in dragonage 2

Since I am gonna to play on hard, I will go with balanced party:

 

My character is gonna to be a Reaver aka DPS.
Cassandra Tank/Templar to dispel magic.

Sera Rogue/Archer for opening chests and range DPS.
"The mage with most buffs for defense or attack" I know almost nothing about the new mage classes lol

Will probably be my go-to team. Luckily that seems to be our first team also!

Inquisitor will be a Human Mage, most likely a Knight Enchanter (though I'll have to look through his skill tree before making a concrete decision),

 

My second will probably be Blackwall with Cassandra filling in when the mood strikes.

 

Third will be Sera as I need a lockpicker and I like archers with Cole coming in if I want to give her a break.

 

Last will be Dorian because Dorian's cool.

 

As always, I'll trade people in and out if I think a mission I'm going on will have unique dialogue for them or something.

Cant really say until I meet them in game and see who do and don't like....Using DAO and DA2 for example..In DAO Wynne and Zev mostly stayed in camp (just didnt care for them...In DA2 Anders, Merrel, and Aveline stayed home for the same reasons. So its a wait and see for me.

I'm thinking a Qunari Archer or Dwarf Warrior first. 

 

Male Qunari will have Solas, Cass (LI maybe) or Blackwall, Varric/Cole/Viv as last choice.

 

Female Dwarf will have Dorian, Sera (LI maybe)and Iron Bull/Varric/Solas as last choice.

 

Though I will try to give each some spotlight especially if I think they will have story significance.

I can't decide on a party build atm, the gameplay is hugely different to the other games. I will see how well the characters work together before I start deciding who to put it. I like parties that can tackle everything.

Are all of those the semi-official "teams" that the devs have mentioned? The only ones I heard about were "team respectful theological debate" (something along those lines) and "team make fun of the elf's clothing" (I think that might have just been a joke)

Does anyone remember the composition of the various "teams" that have been discussed?? I tried to search the forums but couldn't find them... I would be forever in your debt because I'm trying to work out who will be my companions for each of my first three playthroughs and a lot of it depends on how they interact with each other (I remember reading somewhere that Vivienne and Solas won't get along at all and will have "explosive" arguments...)

If anyone knows off the top of their head which companions hate each other and which companions get along, I'd really appreciate it! I was thinking of making a new thread but hopefully someone can help.

P.S. @luridedith: My first two playthroughs are going to be EXACTLY the same as your team YOLO and RUTHLESS AND SEXY. Great minds think alike
