Dear Bioware,

I'd like to thank you for creating the best video game(s) of my lifetime. Thank you for fixing the ending of ME3 for free. Thank you for making a co-op multiplayer that you play with people, not against them for no reason and making the multiplayer matter to the game. My experiences within the game touched my heart and made me feel something no other game has. My Shepard, as I'm sure many other peoples, was awesome. I played all three games for hundreds of hours. Enough to play the perfect Paragon and Renegade games. I played until I reached the "Best of the Best" banner and I can no longer get the "bad" or "moderate" endings.

Thank you for not making Destiny! (An absolute p.o.s.)

Your ME games have depth and meaning with an emotional grip that makes you care about the characters. The stories are fantastic and my romance with Liara was worth the wait. I can't thank you enough for all of it and I hope you can bring all that magic to the next Mass Effect. Until then I'm going to start over as Female Shep and see what mischeif she starts.

Thank You,

Jokermania5150

Thank you Jokermania5150 for being a great example of a gamer, internet voice, and human being.  Thanks for reminding me that most of us who enjoy inhabiting these worlds from time to time are actually pretty decent people.  Thanks for reminding me that a small, angry, vocal minority does not change that.  Thank you reminding me of everything I love about the gaming medium.  I needed to to hear this today.

Right on. Best threequel ever. Impressive effort Bioware. Ignore the whiners who want free stuff customized to their desires. Millions of people played this game end to end, and one loud & cranky % of them didn't get exactly what they wanted ... waah.

I've played lots of games; this is one of a very select few in which I was actually emotionally engaged.

From what I have heard Destiny's story is virtually non-existent.

Thank you everyone for your replies. Mass Effect is my favorite (obviously).

I forgot to give a huge thanks to Bioware for the Citadel DLC. It was great to see the trilogy have some fun at its own expense. And if you have played all three games and have not bought this....shame on you.

First of all let me premise this with blasphemy.  I am not a fan of RPG's, I like strategy and a good FPS. What I love, and what I have been missing, is a darn good story.

Mass Effect - the trilogy - is not a good story.  Mass Effect, in its entirety, is a magnum opus.  It is an extraordinarily rich and diverse world.  It captivates the heart and the imagination, and takes hold of the player and asks them to come a long for a once in a life time ride.  Oh, you may play the game again and again, you may experience it through different dialogues, humour, choices and even Shepherds, but nothing will rival that first time.

I, in my shame, have only recently come to the trilogy, and having played them all, for many many hours, can honestly say, that at the end - I feel an overwhelming sense of loss.  Not at the loss of my Shepherd, although that is heartbreaking, but at the loss of sense of discovery of this entire universe.  As a child, I would look at the sky and not see clouds, but creatures who danced among the sea of blue, as a child, there were monsters under my bed and I would take a running dive to escape their long arms, as a child, I battled dragons and flew in spaceships, and as an adult, that innocence of imagination and joy was slowly stolen by experience and life, until this story.

In this universe, I was a child again, I wandered the stars with 'friends'and I laughed and cried, I fought beside 'friends' and I watched as my choices laid open an unrivaled adventure, I was part of the story and, although bound by the technical aspects of any game, my choices did have an impact on the game play and ultimately how I spent the hours among my 'friends'.

So in adding my voice to the OP's, although belatedly, I would like the thank the devs, writers and artists of Bioware for their daring to dream and give us this magnum opus.

(Although I must simultaneously blame them,as I am still mourning the loss of coming home from work and, flying with fresh new eyes, among the stars...   :P  )

I can't wait for the next game! I hope E3 has some new photos or even a demo. I guess I will eventually need to get an Xbone.....Hopefully a bundle with ME4!

I agree with the general sentiment of the OP's message, but I think ME3's ending was atrocious. Despite not liking the ending, I did have a great time playing the trilogy, it's my favorite game series ever.

So thank you for that Bioware, nothing is perfect but you came very close.

I believe they did. After playing the three original endings I couldn't believe that was it. It didn't make any sense to me and, at that time, I knew everything about the games and books. It was a complete let down. The passion of the fans and the willingness of Bioware to create more for those fans meant a lot to me. Yes, you basically get the three colors but they're expanded upon, at least explained a little bit about what happened and added the 4th optional ending. And it was free. Don't get me wrong, I hate the StarKid but I liked how my Shepard became the leader and protector of the galaxy and helped rebuild everything for everyone. It's what he would have done.

Took the words right out of my mouth! Wow,it's so amazing to see I'm not alone here, coz there's soooo many ungrateful spirits here... Thank you BioWare, for creating the two incomparable games (DAO & ME3).
