More than just a little doubtful. I think what we got so far, no matter what system, will be the last we ever see of the trilogy and that includes the lack of controller support on PC.

But, on the bright side you can circumvent the Problem easily enough with the Pinnacle Game Profiler. Which basically maps the keyboard "buttons" to any kind of Controller. XBox 360 being the easiest to work with.

Worked for me so far with pretty much every game that lacks Controller Support.

Why would you even want this??? Mouse + keyboard trumps a controller. And it's not like you need the fine analog control like in sports games.

Mouse and keyboard are just a pain to use when you want to lean back on the couch and enjoy the games on a big ass tv. Some actually like to play games that way and not sit in front of a desk when they play or lean forward to use the two on the coffee table. And since consoles are not always an option, the PC is hooked up to the TV. It's a comfort thing.

I just can't play any game involving shooting with a controller. Played exclusively on PC for 14 years now.

Twas never added. Hopefully, if there is an HD Anniversary edition it will show up eventually.

I play ME (all three games) on my PC with a Logitech controller mapped to keystrokes. It works pretty well.

I think you won't get banned from multiplayer so long as you don't map macro commands.

Seriously, ME3 for PC doesn't have controller support?!  That's worrying....

I'm another one who prefers controllers to m/k except for RTS games.  While they may not be as effective for shooters, I find them more enjoyable.

No that's very unlikely, but I hope the new Mass Effect gets controller support on PC.

Keyboard & mouse are better though.

Depends what you mean by "better".  More competitive, yes.

Well, I think one thing is for sure, each does what it was designed for better than the other.

Mouse & Keyboard are more precise (Of course the occasional exception may apply as it depends on the person using it) but uncomfortable when you want to lean back on the couch or in your gaming chair. You either have it on a desk or have to balance the keyboard on your lap with the mouse in an odd position next to you. Or even more silly, use a small table on your lap :D

Controller are the more relaxed/comfortable way to play games on your couch or gaming chair. Though they are less precise and much less versatile when it comes to functionality.

And my usual point of view: Options won't hurt anyone. Lack on Controller support is just blegh. Plus, personally I prefer to game on consoles, Flopping down on me couch, leaning back, fire up the mood lighting and then have me AV Receiver provide the proper sound to the picture on me big ass tv :D

it all comes down to preference. There is no "right for all" way to play games.

The simple option would be nice, since this is not a competitive twitch shooter and this type of game I play on my TV and M&KB is a pain to use. Let me guess. You're the type of person that awkwardly plays racing games on the M&KB just because you hate things that are consolish? :P

What are 'racing games'? :P

And you got me all wrong, I have a controller on my pc. I use it for sportsgames and games that are more suitable for a controller than mouse and keyboard.

Change "more suitable" to "your personal preference", and you will have made a coherent statement for once. I prefer to use a controller for 3rd person action/cinematic games because I have no need for the precision of a mouse and dozens of macros at my fingertips. Stop bringing the question at hand off topic because M&KB for as many games as possible makes you hard.

Back to the question.

Bioware, I see that DA:I will have proper controller support. Do you plan to make amends for the time wasted stripping out controller support in your older 360 ports to the PC, including ME1-3 and DA:2?

Thanks
