Not including the three protagonists, one of whom (The Warden) would win by default. One from each game:

 

- Leliana

- Sigrun

- Aveline

- Cassandra

 

I think the fact that they're all females is simply a testmiment to the quality of their writers/writing more so than me preferring female characters in general. Sten, Alistair and Varric are also brilliant and would have made the cut if I didn't cut it down to one per game.

Not counting the warden because s/he was a protagonist, I'm going for Loghain.

DA:O : Duncan, Sten, Riordan... Loghain as an anti-hero.

 

DA:A : Architect, the messenger, Velanna, Nathaniel, my warden-commander (in origins he was just a noob-warden )

 

DA2 : Varric, the Arishok, Aveline.

Nathaniel Howe.  He was the only hero in all of my parties - a man genuinely trying to do what he thought was right for the most people, every time.  

 

My warden was a sociopath, my Hawke was a fool, and my Inquisitor's going to have crippling anxiety.  Thedas is doomed
