I like anime just fine (I'm 26, btw. Never too old!) So does my husband, and he's 30 But I feel with the epic music that's been in Dragon Age and Mass Effect in the past... that'll all I'll be listening to. In fact, I have the sound tracks for Origins, DA2, and Mass Effect 3 on my phone...
If I had to choose... FMA has some of my more favorite tracks thus far! Colonel Mustang's theme is bad ass! Both Brotherhood, and 03.
Why would anyone listen to music that's not part of the game while playing Inquisition? anyway, Spirited Away has a few good pieces of music. Take a pick
because I don't really like classical all that much..so I put on music I do like. For instance when playing Shadowrun returns Communion After Dark dj sets suit me perfectly in place of the game music, Sabatons Swedish Empire album goes really well with total war games, Lamb of God goes pretty well with anything that makes me want to destroy all live, as does CombiChrist, Sabaton Heroes album goes really well with war thunder (in aircraft) or Iron Maidens a matter of life and death for the tank battles, (only problem with listening to Sabaton is the wiki walk triggered by the lyrics and finding out what event or battle they are on about, for instance the Battle of Wizna as described in 40-1, the Polish and Czech squadrons from aces in exile, the list could take up pages and pages of things I have since researched after listening to these songs, songs that are great anyway.)
But in general, ditch stereotypes, it's bad for ya.
I'm 35 and I've enjoyed anime since I was 14. Started on what is now considered classics: Vampire Hunter D, Fist of the Northstar, Akria, ect. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of anime these days, but I still appreciate the genre.
I don't think I'll ever be too old to enjoy Serial Experiment:Lain, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and Trigun. Too many folks associate anime with Sailor Moon or Hamtaro. Lain in particular is creepy. I'd love to be a fly on the wall if someone was dumb enough to show that to a little kid. There's adults and teenagers that find that anime disturbing. The first really disturbing bit comes at about 10-15 minutes in the first episode.
On that note, for my Lady Cadash, this is the only anime theme I have in mind. Vash is my inspiration for this character, after all:
Yeah. During the Big Three era, the American Airlines Arena people piped that music in all the time. Then they used it for the team intro video. Then Heat fans started chanting it without being prompted in the middle of games. And then it came full circle in the 2013 and 2014 Finals, both played between the Heat and the San Antonio Spurs, when Spurs fans chanted it during the Heat's 2013 Game 3 loss (the Heat went on to win the series in seven) and the Spurs' 2014 series-clinching victory in Game 5.
Other teams in other sports use it too - AC Milan, Bayern München, the Baltimore Ravens - but I'd say the Heat are most closely associated with it.
