Well this isn't technically anime, and it's not even technically Japanese either (although it's based off of Super Sentai), but why the heck not?

Adversity is a funny thing ain't it? Why don't I expand on this idea and add a song from another video game?
At this point you either love me or hate me. Choose.
Huh, if you're going to post something from Need for Speed I would post this... ![]()

Aren't you guys a little old to be still watching anime?
Weirdest question ever from someone with an anime character as their icon. ![]()
Admittedly I haven't watched much anime since the early 00's, but this is what I'd pick for my Trevelyan. It's beautiful sounding, but also fits how I imagine she feels.

Yuki Kajiura has done game soundtracks before, too... Xenosaga specifically.

Not really an Anime, but from a Japanese RTS/RPG hybrid for the Sega CD that had Anime cutscenes:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzLcGv9l1NY&index=7&list=PLE22CA7B30F43432A
The game was just alright, but the soundtrack was good. It probably wouldn't be a good fit for DA, but then probably no Anime soundtrack would.

I always find it amusing that people are so dismissive of anime when they aren't even familiar enough with the wide breadth of anime viewing choices to begin to be making blanket statements about it. An adult watching anime is no different from an adult choosing to watch a Pixar movie. Despite Pixar's vibrant and beautiful CGI visuals (and the inherent cuteness appeal to children), movies like Up do have mature themes and excellent storytelling handled with a deft touch. Just watch the sublime opening montage to that Up, and I dare you to not be moved by it.
Are all the millions of people who watched Up too old to watch the film just because of its style and the medium used to tell its story? I think not - especially when I found the film better than any number of craptacular live-action films aimed at adults that I've watched over the years (and I've cited Up in other posts before).
There are many good anime series that are for older viewers, such as Psycho-Pass (one of my favorites since it encompasses everything that I love: future/near future dystopian sci-fi societies, cyberpunk, and detective shows), Steins;Gate (one of my all-time favorites), Zankyou no Teroru, Shinsekai Yori (quite a dark series if you watch it all the way through), and so forth. While I'd happily listen to the entire Psycho-Pass OST while playing any game, here are two examples, plus another song that I really like:
Psycho-Pass (main theme):
More Psycho-Pass - Out of Control by Nothing's Carved in Stone (this is the TV edit and opening for the second half of season 1):
Zankyou no Teroru opening song - Trigger by Ozaki Yuuki:

Hmm...
Fighting in a magister's tower. Or maybe a crypt, abandoned castle, etc.
Normally I'm being facetious but in this case no.
I do like that first track you posted though.

It ain't no shake in me--
I AM Rock!
That ain't no earfquake its ME! Huh!
I am Rock! I am Rock! I am Rock!
Its not even my favorite song on that game tho.

Heh, yeah, F/Z has some great music. Which probably shouldn't come as a surprise given that it combines Type Moon (who inevitably put great music in their work), Ufotable (likewise) and Yuki Kajiura (of whom nothing more needs to be said).
Although, if I had to pick one piece of music from F/Z, it would be this:

The one anime song I listen to outside of watching the source material would be more appropriate if there's an epic space battle in ME4 (that isn't immediately ruined by everything taking place in game following it).

Ah, Macross Plus. Another great OST - oddly enough by another woman with the initials YK: Yoko Kanno. Though I would say that Voices and After, In the Dark are every bit as good as Information High.
