I did a huge binge on otome games. I burned through every one I could find that is in english(and not phone ones as I have a waste-of-space windows phone which none are available for). I am left feeling empty inside and really wish we got more over here. Seriously if anyone likes otome games, play Sweet Fuse and Nameless the one thing you must recall. I cried during them and I'm a soulless monster. ![]()
Other than those, I have quite a few games to play that I got during the steam summer sale. I'm halfway through Baldurs Gate 2: EE and I really should finish it. It's so long! I definitely wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much. Dorn ![]()
I've got so many games started at the moment, and I bounce between them because I have a hard time keeping focus. FFX-2 HD, Ar nosurge, Etrian Odyssey 4, Theatrythem CC, Atelier Escha & Logy, BG2:EE, Muramasa Rebirth, Sims 4, and I play Warframe and FFXIV.
Oh and I just got around to getting DA:O Ultimate Edition so I can finally get to know Shale. So... halfway through that also.
But honestly other than the otome games nothing has kept me entertained from the idea of DA:I. So to really answer the question, nothing at the moment is keeping me sane! I'm hoping Dreamfall Chapters and Fantasy Life will be able to keep me distracted since I'm pretty psyched about those but they aren't till later this month.
What games is currently keeping you sane in the agonizing wait for the glorious release of DA:I?

Playing SWTOR and Diablo III with my bro. That's all really, I don't have much time because of college .-.

I wouldn't say the wait is agonising, as I don't find Bioware titles to be the pinnacle of gaming (certainly the upper echelon for sure, though.) But I have plenty to tide me over in the meantime.
Shadow of Mordor (I LOVE this game)
The Last of Us (Best game I've ever played)
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive edition
I also have a HUGE backlog of games i'm yet to complete dating back to the PS2 era.
Not to mention all of the good stuff coming out between now and then, Assassin's Creed (2 titles) GTA 5 (next gen) as well as a few others.

Been playing Shadow of Mordor. The LotR/Silmarillion nerd in me is in heaven and has been for the last week. Levelling alts through SWTOR too to take advantage of the x12 exp boost they've got on right now.
Looking forward to the new AC games in the gap, plus I haven't played Legend of Dragoon this year so if all else fails I can do that (really old PS1 game but it's still really good - a lot of nice twists on the now-overused clichés in gaming plus their dragons look utterly bizarre)

In the moment?
Guild Wars 2 and Dragon Age: Origins.
Even though the first one has a hold on it's story and I'm kind of pissed, that I have to wait for both and that I would have to choose between GW2 and DA:I ... >_> ...
Yeah other than that I tried a bit of Path of Exile and Diablo 3, didn't like the overall game mechanics though ... I am considering some other RPs but .. nah ... let's see ...

Currently, Bound by Flame. It's not an excellent game overall (kind of a hybrid between Dragon Age, Kingdoms of Amalur and The Witcher???), but it has some good elements here and there, and the story is holding me so far. It's at least doing the trick and keeping me distracted until DA:I takes over my life.

Well..I was bored out of my mind , so I went for a game genre that I rarely play (my years of Mario Bros are so far behind me lol ) . Anyway , I'm playing a game called Remember Me
Story is good , gameplay is fun . Overall minimum suffering
The combat gets a bit repetitive along the way, but it's a horribly underrated game. Quite sad that it didn't sell better than it did. Also: Nilin is so damned cool.

Playing the stories in SWTOR that I haven't run through yet.
Have a bunch of games installed otherwise but not much is keeping me occupied.

Turn-based strategy games (Age of Wonders III, the upcoming Civilization: Beyond Earth, and I'll probably get Endless Legend soon as well), Ultra Street Fighter IV, The Sims 4.

Dragon Age Origins and sims 4 on PC, Final Fantasy X HD remaster on PS3. Maybe I'll play inquisition a month after it is released, and the worst thing is, I have it preordered.

One to satisfy my character creating, roleplaying urges and the other to satisfy when I feel like going a few rounds.
Interested in Shadow of Mordor but don't have the $$$ to be plunking down on more games, literally saving up for Inquisition lol.

In a run of nostalgia, in order to cherish the anticipation of what is to come, I found myself enjoying what had come before, so, thank you for indulging the bat-punk epic epicness of my geek-hood. Here are the Titles that have kept a semblance of sanity to the rest of my day (since work has never, and will never qualify!)
The official "Legacy of Sanity" listing (in no particular order of awesomeness.. except for maybe the very first two.)
- The Witcher & The Witcher II
- Baldur's Gate I & II
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I & II
- Dead Space I, II & III
- Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (Yeah, don't hate.. appreciate!)
- Jade Empire
- Sleeping Dogs
...and of coarse such a geek'd out list would not be complete without Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II
(personal nerdgasim here.. All these are PC versions so of course nearly all of them have crazy mods to add to the enjoyment!)
If anything, there is always beauty in diversity.

AMAZING NEWS! for me of course, but AMAZING non the less
i've order Tales of Vesperia on xbox360 and it is HERE! there were some issues and i was sure it got lost, i'm so glad it didn't, i've already played it when it first came out but my system at the time was an NTSC console, it died so i got a PAL years ago and sadly the game is region locked, so i had to buy a new one but i just couldn't find it anymore, thank the maker for amazon
The waiting won't be as bad as i though :")

how proud must the devs who worked on those games be that they're being update for modern systems and are still being played today.

Not really . Then again , I dont play that kind of game often (if ever) . I found the gameplay a bit difficult in the beginning cose Im on keyboard +mouse . But I got the hang of it and finished the game and I liked it . It was good , and fun and wasn't bored at all which I cant say for some games lol . And I know it didn't sell better...that is a shame actually . BUT there is a good news !! they are working on a Sequel !!! called 'Life is Strange' . It's ...well not same hero or setting . But a sequel I guess in the same style of game................and who know , maybe Nilin will show up
