So, jusy now I was trying to make a new thread in the Dragon Age Origins section, (looking for for tips on how to enjoy the game a bit more than the last time I tried to play through) but thr option never appeared.

I have no problem posting here in Off Topic or the Mass Effect roleplaying boards, so what gives?

Is the game registered on your account here? Click on your profile and check the "games" section.

Otherwise, I'm not sure. You could try asking in the BioWare Help section.

No, I don't think it is. I'll try that.

EDIT: That is a monumentally sh*tty system.

It is suboptimal, I'll give you that, but compared to the endless spam a couple very vocal people put the forum through in particular after the release of the DAII and ME3 games, I'll rather take this system over trolls being able to use infinite alt-accounts to spam the forum and even hate speech (as in death threats to the developers).

That's weird, none of my games are registered here (at least I don't think so, I don't have the tags anymore) but it looks like I can post in the DAO forums.

They were registered on social.bioware.com though.

If you log in using your Origin account, your BFN account will automatically get clearance for all the forum sections for games that you own on your Origin account without having to actively register them.

At least I think that's how it works, because I never registered them on this site, yet I can post everywhere. And the games actually show in my profile in the "Games" tab, though I don't have the game tags showing for my account.

If you had the games registered on the original BSN/Origins then it will remain registered here.

You do have to jump through a ton of hoops to get the little icons to show up though.
