The game isn't out yet... I don't think you are gonna receive any help until a couple of days from now. Maybe your fellow street-date breakers will come to your aid.

People like this make it worse for all the legit owners. Way to raise the price of games, rim job, and be dumb enough to post here pre release!

Wow, im glad he said that. I was about to defend him and say that people have LEGITLY been receiving their copies now, but this. No. Bioware does not do demos. So... yeah... piracy is bad. So, buy the real thing and you probly wont have this issue.

Maybe the "No Load" is the "Galaxy Map" of ME2.
Wouldn't that be great?

Aye Supreme's definitely using a pirated or cracked copy. My pre-order collectors edition I installed today saves and loads normally without any issues.

wow..that was an interesting post?
Are there save games located in the bioware\\me2\\profile\\saved folder under documents? (i believe its something like that)
Also can you hit resume game..then just go back to the menu hit save..save new game then try?
Have you started more then one game and you hit switch careers and forgot to switch it back?

I have a legit copy of the game, the ea store shipped it a day early. So it is possible that the OP does as well.

Hola not really, fussed about the guys above, but i do have a similar problem.
I received my Mass Effect 2 on Friday as a pre-order from Amazon and yay its a brilliant game, fair play to bioware for making a really good game into a great game.
But anyway to the point. Ive played up until "Jack" (ill try not to give any spoilers away) and ive been saving games, which is fine, i can see ive already got 12 different saved whan i go into the "Save menu"
But when i exit Mass Effect and restart it, the load option is there, but its not obviuos where my saved games are? Basically i cant see the list of saved games i have. Am i missing something or is this a bug?
So for the time being, the "Resume" option is there at the top of the main menu so ive been carrying on using this option.
Might be a daft question but can anyone point out what i'm doing wrong? or what i'm missing?
In shart, how do i load one of my saves back?
Cheers.

Supreme3, Solution to your problem posted by "SlowMotionKarma" on "Gamefaqs":

Mass Effect 1 had the same problem for some people. It's a simple fix. All you have to do is go to your save folder
(Drive):\\(Your Documents)\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 2\\Save\\
and create a folder. I doesn't really matter what you name it (I used my character name for organization's sake). And place all your save files in it. Start the game up, and they should appear.
