So, I guess I'll get started here.
Corypheus is all over this book, and he has a pet Dragon that looks a lot like him. He appears in various storyboards and is listed as "the Face Behind the Chaos". The Breach creates a lot of Red Lyrium, and there is an image of Corypheus floating at the center of the blast area.
There is no other major villain clearly displayed.
However, there is an Ancient Elven Temple with Elven Temple Guardians, said to be in an unexplored region of Thedas that seems unconquered by the Tevinter.
Meaning that they're probably Ancient Elves.

Ok so I admit I'm a bit disappointed that Cory is apparently the big bad of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Mostly because we already kicked this guy's ass in DA2 as Hawke. Not to cheapen Hawke as a fighter, but it's not as if Hawke was Chosen One level. Even though he was a champion, he was just a regular guy. I don't see how I'm suppose to be spooked by Corypheus in this game? Especially since this time around I'll be playing a more powerful character with a powerful army behind his back.
I have to believe there's something pulling Cory's strings. I heard one theory that was pretty good, about Fen'hareal being the mastermind behind the chaos, who's posing as Dumat in order to trick Cory. But if Cory is the final end boss, then that'd be a bit underwhelming to me.

Quite the promotion indeed. He didn't appear to have the stature of a Big Bad, and I still wonder who Flemeth was referring to when she said she didn't want to be followed and that Hawke may have saved her life in DA2's Act I. The events of Legacy hadn't happened when Flemeth gave Hawke the amulet, so who was she avoiding?
I thought she said that because The Warden killed her in DA:O, and if she didn't leave a piece of herself in the amulet, she would've been dead for good.

Well, he's certainly the "Face".

Well, Corypheus may not have been at his prime when he just woke up, and Corypheus's mysterious weapon, Grey Warden army, Demon armies, ability to respawn out of Grey Wardens, and pet dragon might raise his difficulty level up quite a bit.
Also, he gets a Tarot card of his own.
What I find most mysterious is "Corypheus's Weapon", a smooth metallic orb with a fingerprint pattern, that is contrasted with the tainted roughness of Corypheus and his Dragon and described as being "Pure and Simple". I'm wondering if it's something he got from the Black City...
Also, there's another picture of Corypheus in the book, only without the fused metal plates and in different clothing. A picture where he appears smoother and more symmetrical, though still possessing Darkspawn proportions.
It's possible that Corypheus might raise his powerlevel during the game itself, and we're in an arms race with him throughout the entire game.

Apparently one of the gameplay trailers accidentally revealed a plot important mission. Looks like Corypheus is indeed our Big Bad
Skyhold - Here Lies the Abyss
The Grey Wardens are using blood magic and sacrifices to summon an army of demons. The ritual puts both the demon and blood mage leashed to it under Corypheus' control. Unless the Wardens are stopped, Corypheus will have an army of demons in his power.
- Speak with the advisors at the war table in Skyhold

He's either the Big Bad or just the primary antagonist like Loghain was.
Anyhow, the art of the less grotesquely deformed, but still Darkspawn proportioned, Corypheus actually reminds me a bit of the pictures the book has of the Ancient Elves. There's also a storyboard where he's fighting one for some reason...
So that makes me wonder if maybe he needs to steal an Ancient Elf's body in order to more properly master his powers?

So I have the book...
and there's some stuff I noticed :
In the elven chapter , we can see a two statue : one of a wolf and one of a dragon.
I don't remember dragons in elven mythology.
Also some Elven Statue looks like Flemeth IMHO.
Anyway my crazy theory is Flemeth and Fen Harel are both very old thing and I think they can't cross the veil.I think Fen Harel trolled the magister , posing as Dumat .

Welp, just found a picture of Corypheus's head on a stick that the Inquisitor is holding, so we might actually get to kill him several times.
Also, Leliana is crying for some reason in that picture, and Cass looks pissed.

Where did you find this?
It's in the artbook, the Inquisitor is Qunari in the picture and the Cory head has red glowing eyes.
Corypheus has red eyes in several other pictures as well.

Interesting since the new trailer had an outline of what was apparently the Elder One and it had glowing red eyes and looked similar to how Corypheus looked. Looks like Corypheus is indeed the Elder One if the trailer is any indication.

Apparently somebody posted leaked art from the artbook in the Cullen thread showing Cullen with a very creepy smile implying somebody disguises themselves as Cullen. Anyone who saw the image or got the artbook care to describe it better? Maybe its a new kind of demon?
