In the latest games such as ME series (let's face it)the charachter creator was lacking.

What I am asking for is to give us more options at that.

More haircuts(especially females)more looks and scars.

To create my own unique Inquisitor.

Hideous horrible terryfing.My gf's words.

After all the games they still didn't learn nothing.

Bioware really should check fan's work and think about it.

Such a shame. Bioware makes their best looking CC yet, and people still complain just because they want it to be perfect.

Well I do hope that for female characters there's a skin complexion setting between "unspoiled teenage girl" and "ugly old hag". I couldn't tell from that video.

And why is it still so hard to have proper lighting in a cc? In how many games now have I spent hours upon hours restarting the game and recreating a character again and again because it ended up looking totally different once it got into the actual game's lighting? I have spent full evenings in Mass Effect's cc because it was so bad. Thank the Maker for the Black Emporium in DA2 and its Mirror of Transformation. I ended up adjusting my Hawkes so many times...

Uh, there's only so much options they can pack in across four races and two sexes, each combination most probably as varied and specific to its set-up as the last. And animating long hair is a ******- believe me, I've tried. Not to the extent of game animators and modellers, but just a taste was enough for me to understand that short or tied-back hair would give the least head-aches. Besides, you have sliders for any feature of your face, so you can get as close to your original idea of your character as much as you can- you'll just have to compromise with hair.

It looks like you can do lot with scars. You can move them freely around face so you can end up with unique scars :) Hair options.. well there is lot for races that aren't qunari. Qunari just have 4 for female and 4 for males (it seems) so that's huge problem to me. Not only lack of options but lack of quality compared to other races as well.

Ok so may be Bioware don't have time to work with haircuts.

So please give us the fans something like IDK(like it was in DAO)to work with.

We will make our own.

They have stated that the lighting in the CC is custom stage lighting that is identical to the majority of cutscenes in the game. And the prologue will have enough different lighting cues to make it obvious in the very beginning if the prior CC lighting isn't enough. So I think you're good. (Also ME's CC has always been the worst out of the two, you can't even turn the head. Hence most Sheps have cheekbones that could be classified as a weapon)

They said that they have no idea if making a toolset is even possible. Frostbite is notoriously difficult (some say impossible) to mod. But the graphical fidelity, lighting set-ups and real-time destructibility was considered a good tradeoff.

I think the OP's (/gf's) problem is that we are now able to create characters that have "character" and not victoria's secret and male underwear models. -_-

So, "they still didn't learn nothing"? Which means that they did learn something...that's a good thing.

I think the CC in the video looks great. We're goin' to the field so ruck up, fall in, and get ready to move out, troop! ;)

We're not asking for long hair, just more than 4 crappy-looking options, one of which is no hair at all so effectively only 3.

Oh god yes, the cheekbones were such a pain in ME! I do hope you're right about the lighting though, it doesn't look all that spectacular to me in that vid, unless the rest of the game is just as dark.

Well, and let's not forget, folks: 90% of the people complaining they can't make a stunningly beautiful char with the Creator ... are probably so damn ugly in real life they make the angels in heaven cry in agony! :wizard:

(and just to soften the above: This is my personal guardian angel everytime we meet... the poor thing...

That's enough of that insubordination, to the stocks with ya! :)

Kido? Doing an internet search reveals that a kido is a male version of a "babe." Uh, thanks...I guess. Or maybe you meant kiddo...if that's the case, you must be so old you fart dust in order to call me kiddo. lol

LOL that was great thanks for that.

In all seriousness though. I think the character creator looks greats, some decent options in there for all races.
