I bought the DDE from EA directly through the DL Manager. DLd and installed fine, but when I try to start the game through the DL manager, I get to the launcher, click play, and get an Error: Cannot connect to EA Core message. If I then go back to the DL Manager and try again, DL Manager minimizes itself, and nothing else happens. If I try to start the game through the Launcher icon, I just repeatedly get the EA Core error message.

I have tried entering my key code through the DL Manager, and it is already registered (to my game, according to the config tool). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the DL Manager and the game itself, to no avail. Any advice?

Found out you cannot have Mozilla Firefox set as your default browser. If you are having a problem with EA Core and you use Firefox, change over to IE 6 or better. Good luck all.
