I've seen topics about factions, but none about faction leaders, which will most likely be important in the game! I'm assuming that there will be some faction leaders in the game, because your Inquisitor, when dealing with the Templars and the Mages will have to deal with their leaders and not each individual from the opposing groups. And who will represent the Dalish or the Dwarves? Are there any other factions you can think of and what leader would you have to deal with to solve their disputes?

I'm thinking that for the mages, Wynne's son, Rhys, or perhaps Anders if he lives? Maybe another mage possessed by the spirit of Justice?

For the Templars, i have no idea. Maybe another Knight commander? I don't know.

For the Dalish, I'd like Merril to somehow play a part but I doubt that will happen. I would love to see Lanaya again however, but since in some people's games she can be doubt, i doubt she'd play a big role.

I'm hoping we see The Lady of the Forest again and her armie or Werewolves?

Will the Dwarves be led by Bhelen or Harrowmont? How will that affect the story?

Who is the leader of the Grey Wardens? Stroud? (i hope not, didnt like his mustache)

what do you guys think

Fiona is the leader of the mages. And for a random question, is booty love and life because you're a guy who loves booties or are you a girl who likes her own booty? Curious about your name is all.

I'm a guy who likes booty. Where'd you get the info about Fiona? Thanks for it :)

I'll assume Rhys, Anders would make a poor leader, even if the mages wanted independence, many of them probably aren't keen on Anders' methods. Also it would provide useful interaction with Cole, a new character, rather than Varric, an older one.

I don't think we'll have much direct interaction with Bhelen or Harrowmont, more likely ambassadors. Though that might change if Fade rifts open in the Deep Roads (here's hoping the demons fight the darkspawn if that's the case)

Lady of the Forest would be unlikely, at least as a representative. She's no longer tied to the physical world for some, and she's not much of a strategist from what we know. It would be interesting to meet her in the Fade, returned to her home.

I doubt it's stroud, Commander of the Grey stays in the Anderfels I think, I think Stroud fills in for the Warden-Commander in Vigil's Keep.

stroud seems likely considering how he was shown in dragonage 2, i wouldn't expect them to name a random warden that wouldn't be apart of the story or at least in a later story. unless blackwall is and he just joins you and puts some other character in charge while he is helping you with the inquisition.

well, seeing as how the mage leaders and chantry leaders are at the peace conference and it gets blown up.... and fiona is the leader of the mages, i doubt she will be seen again....  rhys is an interesting choice if he wasnt in explosion.... first enchanter irving would be another interesting choice in my opinion.

Templars..... well, we know at least carrol the dude who was at the docks in origins is referenced in the game.... (semi confirmed, somewhere in the forum i saw it) other than that we have no clue who could be leading them as meredith is dead, cullen is with us, and lambert is missing although im gonna write him off as dead, im not like those hopefuls out there who liked him.

Chantry....  probably some corrupt idiots vying to take over after divines death

Orlais, we know of gaspard and celene, with the possibility that briala is involved

Dalish, well we still dont know entirely what briala is up to and i doubt anyone but the city elves would listen to her....  doubt any of the previous clans we have seen will be there, as we have options in games to destroy them.

Wouldn't Rhys go to the peace talk while Fiona stayed with the mage rebels who might be just waiting for the cease fire to end and go back to the war?

Just something i was thinking about since a lot of people suspect Fiona to be dead at the beginning of the game, but of what I've seen more think Rhys is going to be alive.

That just seems a bit backwards to me since Fiona is the obviously more trained in the art of war than Rhys so wouldn't it make more sense to leave her with the Mage troops in case of a trap or a end to the cease fire, and send Rhys to the peace talks since he has taken his mother spot pretty much, and i doubt he really is any kind of Colonel or Commander to the Mage's. He seems much more like an ambassador or politician for their movement.

I really don't see Rhys dying at the conference, if anything he'll be in Cole personal quest alongside Evangeline probably.

I hope Rhys is alive.  If I'm going to be siding with the Mages, I need him to be there to counter or control Adrian and Fiona.

Not want.  Need.  Or else, I swear, my Inquisitor's not going to be a happy camper.  He'll support the Mages, but be very sour doing it.

As for the other camps...

Templars:  Lambert, or his Next-in-Command should Lambert be dead or remain disappeared

Red Templars:  Idunno...maybe a high-ranking Templar from Kirkwall who thought Meredith's freakout at the Gallows was "intriguing"

Celene's Faction:  Celene

Gaspard's Faction:  Gaspard

Grey Wardens:  I'm actually partial to a Corypheus-possessed First Warden

Dalish:  a council of Keepers, meeting during an Arlathvhen

Orzammar:  Whoever you left in charge, either Bhelen or a Harrowmont (I think old Lord Harrowmont died of stress-induced poor health a few years after becoming King.  Then again, those were just rumors.)

I do too. i just think it makes more sense for him to be at the peace summit and not Fiona.

Yeah, I doubt the mages would send Fiona to the peace summit. Besides the fact that diplomacy is not her strongest suit, as you said she is trained in the art of war which pretty much all the other mages lack. So risking her risks their ability to fight nearly as well.

Plus Gaider said the "Fiona is Alistair's mom" thing will be addressed in DAI. Considering the only ones other than her who know are Duncan and Maric, both of whom are dead, it would be hard to address that if she dies at the peace summit.

Like i don't want to see Rhys dead but i just can't really think of a reason he wouldn't be there considering its a peace summit and all.

Fiona on the other hand, you can find personal reasons, story reasons, and logical reasons why she should wouldn't be at the summit.

P.S I love the Quote from Code Geass. i hope the 3rd OVA comes out soon.
