Ah - thread to discuss that something was better than expected.
Result: further complaining about changes and mechanics as yet untried.

Health potions removed.Why?
Healer magic-removed.
Attributes-removed.
I am changing my mind about this game.I'm not gonna play it.
Oh and a hideous char creation.U G L Y.
Health potions... aren't removed.
There is still some healing magic, it's just tied to focus not mana and it resurrects as well as heals.
Attributes aren't removed, they are tied to your actions and gear, ala Skyrim with gear leveling.
Oh, and I personally love the character creation, it's so in depth it's not funny.

I'm not entirely sure how anyone can call the CC ugly unless they actually didn't play DA:O or DA2 at all...

I just want to mention that the lack of regen outside combat, along with enemies that don't scale to your level are two features that I like very much and I'm happy they work that way, instead of the other way around. The idea that I'll probably need to craft good equipment excites me as well, because I can't wait to explore the game world they've created, so I hope your fears are trueincreased difficult, lack of healing spells, no attribute point allocation during level up, probably needing to craft most of your equipment to do decently in the game, the button layout for abilities/attacking, having only healing potions to heal since there is no regen outside of combat. the list goes on. game play seems like its gonna suck.
The button layout - if you mean key configuration, that can be changed easily. But I guess you mean the quickbar. I dislike how large it is, it covers more screenspace than I think was needed, and I don't like the DA2 style of the UI graphics in general, I think they break immersion a little. I liked DAO's UI graphics better, but I can live with that.
Gameplay should be fine as long as we have quests with meaningful choices and irreversable mutually exclusive consequences. What you are talking about is game mechanics and interface, not gameplay.
Something I dislike is the shiny graphics effects seen when using talents. I think they break immersion, as the rest of the world looks so realistic now, and I believe the art people went a little over the top with those. If it was up to me, physical attacks shouldn't have any special effects, except for sparks when metal strikes metal perhaps. The current amount of graphic effects reminds me of WoW, LoL and this type of games, which I doubt is the intended effect.
