OK I love the TV show and am waiting for my season 3 DVDs.... Season 1 was kind of bland but the show picked up in season 2 although I felt they made it way too much more like a soap opera then a scifi show...

 

I am hoping season 3 will e more scifi and less angsty soap opera...

 

I love the Tarrs..... I want a bath in my living room

 

OK onto the game.

 

It started well for me. Then they introduced level scaling and ever since that stupid decision people have been b*tching and complaining about the game...... That patch also introduces issues such as lag....... But with all the annoying quirks I still love this game and keep playing every now and then to keep my EGO rating up.. 

 

I might quit once I get a rating of 5000........

 

What I can't understand is the company involved. They treat their other games with a bit of care but seem hard pressed to care about Defiance...  I don't know what goes on in the minds of CEOs but if they don't want the game sell it to another company that might treat it better. Lag could be very easily fixed if they hired someone to look at their bloody servers and fix whatever stupid thing they did to them.

 

Sorry if this post is a bit ranty........ I love the game but there are parts I feel could be fixed, and should be fixed..

I've been meaning to try it on PS3 since they made it free-to-play. I'm hoping it's at least decent.

For what it is it is fun but issues like server lag during big events are a PITA...........

I Used to play it quite often actually after reaching 5000 ego and after my clan disbaned i lost pretty much all interest. Its been a good year since Ive played.

I've played it on and off. It's fun, but I've never been a huge shooter fan.

The setting is nice though, I like the universe they've created and I've been following the show and game since before they went live.

I'm currently also waiting for season 3 after 2's rather spectacular ending. 

One of these days I have to play the game again...

So many games to play, so little time...
