Wouldn't you agree that this would be great? To meet her as a demon and cut her head off?

I think she's ready for a decap as is.

Lolwut?Murder of Vicount son for a start.
Or shall I provide full list of her deeds?
Sister Petrice did nothing wrong.
Actually it was Adachi who did nothing wrong.

Petrice did everything wrong.
Sister Petrice did nothing wrong.

Omg Sister Petrice ![]()
I love her. She knows the threat the Qunari poses and does what is needed. "So called" good characters will revel in her death, they might aswell send their kids to the Qunari for "Education" (read: Brainwashing).
Sister Petrice is a passionate, beautiful and strong woman who knows what has to be done to make the world a better place. Yes she uses you, because she doesent know you. Once you prove yourself sister Petrice and you become allies. But most people are so butt-hurt after the slight misunderstanding (Someone would call it betrayal) that they want to kill her (bloodthirsty monsters). She might not be that bright or cunning, but she makes up for that in undying fanaticism and zeal.
TBH it kinda disturbs me how many enjoy killing her. She knows the real threat and does something about it. If it wasnt for people like Petrice the next Dragon age would be: Qunari: Age, where the only place humans, elves and dwarves can be found is in the codex.

Why the heck would she turn into a demon?
She just doesn't like the Qunari. Whoop-dee-do.

Why not? I think the OP has a neat idea there. SP always kind of reminded me of a desire demon. Somehow she seemed to share traits like the scheming. ![]()

I don't the relation to Desire especially. Desire's main purpose is to tap into someone's innermost need and delude them into experiencing it (while draining their life).
Petrice is just a minor political character. Nothing mystical about her. She's the fantasy equivalent of an Islamo-phobe or anti-commie type from the 1950s. Scared of the new "outside threat" to her way of life.

That's right. But I think both her and the demon have a secret agenda and aren't open about their intentions. That's what I meant with sharing traits.

Wut?
well we don't kill her.....a Qunari does . And what she did.....she had no right . All in the name of the maker . yeah right ! She did what she did to climb the ladder .
Maybe the Qunari are a threath to the chantry religion...but it wasn't her place . Or her right . And using an innocent then blaming Hawke ? wut??
If you wanna do evil deed...at least own up to it . Instead of lying and what not....I have more respect for the vilain before killing them .
I don't think she can turn demon if she wasn't one from the beginning.
I sided with her during one of my playthroughs. It was intresting experience.. I'd like to see her in Inquisition when I importart that world state ^^

It's nothing to do with an "outside threat to her way of life". It was about adhering to the core precepts of the religion she follows. For a true believer of the Chant, the Qunari, by attracting converts, are condeming the world to an eternity of misery. The Maker will not return until everyone follows the Chant. For anyone who claims to be a follower of the Andrastean religion, driving the Qunari out should've been their first and foremost objective. It was because the leadership failed to adhere to what they claimed to believe in that Petrice was forced to resort to the methods she used. She had to do what she did - the stakes, eternity, were simply too high for her not to act.

You don't need to defend her to me. I side with her (at least in my main playthrough). I don't like Qunari myself.
But I do think she's running on fear. And I think she overestimates the threat. And underestimates the appeal of her own religion, if she thinks she has to use all kinds of scare tactics and mob violence to get her way. These are her "first options", instead of last options. That reeks of fear. If she believed in the Chantry more, she'd know it can stand up on it's own merits.
I side with her though because she leaves me little choice. I'm not going to side with Qunari, even if I don't like her that much.

Is she scared? Yes, of course. Any sane person would be.
Thing is, she's the only person you meet that's actively trying to remove the Qunari. The Chantry is doing nothing. The government is doing nothing. And when you're just a single woman with some influence but little actual power, the position a Sister of the Chantry would find herself in, the only way you can achieve things is to resort to methods like those she uses. And, frankly, why shouldn't she use those methods if they're likely to work? The fate of the world - and beyond - is at stake. She can't afford to "play nice". She has to act.

The Chantry is doing nothing, and neither are the Qunari. The Arishok just grumbles about humanity and doesn't really give a crap much more than that. He says he isn't there to bring the Qun. That isn't his job. He's just after the Tome. And he's also a military leader, not their spokesperson (the Ariqun). It's Petrice's antics that finally pisses him off and forces his hand. Nothing would have ever happened without her.. we'd only have uneasy tension.
She's a bit like Anders, except for Act 2. She forces a confrontation and choice, whether you like it or not. In the end I feel like I have to side with her, but if it was up to me (or the Arishok), nothing would have happened in the first place.

Er, why?
The qunari didn't come to convert anyone. It's an entirely military force looking for a stolen book. They're doing nothing at all to threaten the Chantry in Kirkwall, but they do have quite a bit of muscle to make any war that started in the city horribly messy while remaining purposeless. I don't like the qunari, but the best thing to do in this situation is help them accomplish their goals so that they leave Kirkwall as soon and as quietly as possible.
Petrice is nothing but a shortsighted murderer chasing a fantasy.

But they are converting people. Whether that was their intent or not is irrelevant. And, by doing so, they are harming every single person in the world by denying them the presence of the Maker. The Maker will not return until the Chant of Light is spead to all four coners of the world. The Qunari are preventing this, therefore they are not just threatening the Chantry, they are threatening everyone on Thedas.
What are the Qunari's goals? Seriously. What are they? Oh, yeah, right. No-one knows. They eventually tell one person. How can they be helped? No-one knows. The Qunari, as far as any one can tell, are not even trying to get out of Kirkwall. Instead they are just sitting there, collecting converts and denying the Maker. And in doing so they are condeming the world to misery.
Petrice is perhaps the only Andrastean in Kirkwall who is genuinely prepared to live up to what her beliefs require.
God I have hated her! That b1tch sorry for my language but, she deservad to die, after she turn innocent pepole and sacrafice them for what she have done and i'd be glad to kill her again in DA:I AND DA4 AND SO ON!!!!!

Just because you believe something stupid and dangerous doesn't mean evil things you do aren't evil.
Dunno why but I imagine petrice at orgasm I am diying from laughing right now...
