Thanks! Nice to have an official confirmation!
I'm kinda feeling bad for the XB1 crowd, thoughhopefully the resolution is going to be updated in a patch.
Why? They choose to buy the game on that platform.

... because there are going to be people that're going to feel cheated that they'll get the "lesser" (again, 180p, not that much of an issue) version even though they've paid the same (or greater) amount of money for their chosen console than the PS4 players.
Sure it's not BioWare's fault, but I'm pretty sure some people are gonna feel stung all the same.

Then their feelings are unsound, unless they feel they cheated themselves by buying a less powerful console.
Isn't Xbox one getting the game/DLC early? If they are then Bioware has done enough to soothe their tortured souls.
You fixed my grammar but couldn't quote properly? Odd that.
Anyway you don't need grammar when you have money for a badass pc brah!
Funny how you claim to be the master race and yet Red Dead Redemption never saw PC platforms. Wait a minute, wasn't GTA V delayed on the PC platform only? That is odd and now we have news that Halo wont be coming to PC either?
Wow, is it just me or do you look like a bit of an idiot standing out on that limb all by your lonesome? Maybe if you'd worked harder on your grammar you might have gotten a real job and been able to prevent that happening eh?
Oh and i just got word from the black community.... they think you're and idiot for trying to talk like they do. They said stop it and find your own identity ![]()

See i just Don't get it. if you bought a Xbone or PS4 you should know the strength of the machine. if you bought the one that is weaker than you should expect it not to look as good so I don't know why Developers are then trying to match the two machines together, they should just attempt to make them be as good as possible and if one version falls short its because of the machine its running on.
I was a 360 owner for many years, and I knew it was weaker, it was just a fact. I now own a PS4 and a good gaming PC but i don't want to see either of those versions short end because of inferior components of a different machine. So i hope developers just forget about parity.
Then their feelings are unsound, unless they feel they cheated themselves by buying a less powerful console.
... A little solidarity never hurt anyone? I'm a PS3 & 4 owner myself, and didn't even think about getting the XBO (because damn if I haven't been crewed over by MS's products enough in my life) so it's not like this even is that big of a deal for me, all in all. Just wanted to show a little sympathy for fellow gamers before the console/platform wars get going in earnest. Again.

I'm not trying to start any console wars here. I've been on the other end of the spectrum when it comes to the power of your console.

Didn't try to imply that you were, just that this is the kind of stuff (the pixel issue, not your comment) that usually leads to them.
But yeah - the issue is not that big to begin with (the difference between 900p and 1080p is less than 17%) so it's unlikely there's going to be any really big differences in graphics.
Is the difference between X1 output and PS4 output really that drastic?
I always see these Xb1 comments and how it's dragging PS4 down. They can't be that different from each other. If there are differences, they probably aren't too big that it shouldn't be even counted as one console dragging the other console down.

Xbox has slightly faster CPU (1.75 GHz vs. 1.6 GHz), but has significantly weaker GPU.
Difference similar to that between GTX 660 and GTX 650Ti.
It may not seem like much, but that's equivalent to about 10-20% difference in efficiency.
Like... let's say a difference between rendering video in 1080p and 900p
.
Of course that may not necessarily be true in each case. I for one am inclined to believe that Ubisoft is not artificially locking PS4 on the same parameters as Xbox One in AC Unity - because the issue there is mostly with computing AI for several hundred NPCs on screen (which is CPU dependent) - where in DA:I most resources are most likely consumed by your typical visuals and rendering various effects (spells and talents, etc).

We get a preview 1 week before launch and a timed release DLC all is good as far as I'm concerned.

Confirmed: #DAI resolution is 1080p on PS4, and 900p on Xbox One. We maximized the current potential of each platform.

Add this to the OP if it hasn't been posted already. Thanks for confirming BioWare. ![]()

Well, those people should have bought a PS4. It's common knowledge that it's the more powerful machine.
I think the more important issue here (and what I commend Bioware for) is that they did not gimp one system because of the other. I fully support taking the advantage of what ever system has to offer. For example the PC version can support up to 4k and I believe should be able to be played at 60fps, whereas on consoles the max resolution will be 1080p (PS4) and I assume both consoles will be 30 fps. (This has not yet been confirmed).
I think that's fine. As was mentioned before, if the hardware is limited there is very little that the developer can do and they should be lauded for not reducing the vision of their game.
