Hello a long time player of this game I personally think all the games are great I am not going to lie I was/am a bit gutted that Shepard won't be in mass effect 4
Things I would like to see I don't know if the devs look on here or not

1) the combat simulator from mass effect 3 DLC
2)Asari
3)Ashley Williams
4) I hope they still use the Spectre status

Why don't we just let them innovate? And bring us forth new things?

Something like Pinnacle station would be great too
2)Asari

Yes please
3)Ashley Williams

I love Ashley a lot but I'm not sure she would be good for the new the game.
4) I hope they still use the Spectre status

You mean like our hero should be a spectre? or?

@ cptfalconpunch

I have no objection to Bioware taking the game in a new direction but the Asari plays a big part in galactic society they were the ones who found the Citadel set up a galactic government. We have already been teased that that the Salarian are going to be in it when I feel if they are doing this the Asari played a massive part in the Mass Effect universe and to cut them out would not make any sense
Regarding the simulator I can see why they would not want to do this but for me it would be the cherry on the cake (in a positive way)
Ashley Williams I can see this would be difficult with the chose in Mass Effect 1 who to save but it would be nice to see her.

@ meuniverse

Pinnacle station I missed this DLC

Spectres yes I was thinking the hero (main character) could be a Spectre have access to special resources and influence just like in the first three.

Looking at the frostbite engine I see much more potential to expand game worlds and characters in several high definition graphical environments.  This opens the opportunity to explore Worlds in a much more detailed fashion with different modes of travel than we have seen before.  I agree that frostbite needs some development to meet the challenges of a role playing game with intelligent npcs and could not agree more about this aspect to story immersion.  Characters that are "quest aware", can comment on tactics or history, do independent operations or tasks "feel" more real ..... and a smart NPC is more reliable than any PVP partner; although co-op play should also be considered.

Could we now ask why a culture might evolve on each of the council worlds as to flora and fauna even material make up?

  1. The Asari would be one of the most interesting because of the high concentration of element zero among other things mutating life and/or the Protheans playing with their DNA as actively preparing a species to fight the reapers. The Prothean AI could be part of this, as it is clear that the Asari used it often.  Maybe it activates when it determines a "change" is needed. The Prothean facility under the shrine could be explored.
  2. There is an early timeline mission with Asari and Salarian Researchers trying to understand the mass relays that ties into cerberus and Liara's "father" that could be a rich story on its own.
  3. Why did the Protheans take interest in the Hanar - did they envision Basto?  However, the Hanar do have advanced science and technology as they saved the Drell.  How did they achieve that?  Our technology does not mix well with water it might be an interesting story in alternative sciences.  I see many people asking for underwater missions mostly Hanar, but some want the levithan culture explored.
  4. I think we owe it to Dr. Mordin Solus to look at the Salarian Worlds - Just how does a salarian doctor get so specialized with so many species  - That has got to be a story!  Maybe plague outbreaks from unique materials and agricultural sources on space stations and new worlds develop his talents.

We can explore alliances and be part of first contact missions for the council Worlds and see how special skills of each culture can benefit the others for some diplomatic missions - Of course you can't please everyone so organizations and groups fighting against cooperative peace have to be dealt with.  You might free some slaves from Batarian holdings and see the scope of their corrupt violations of each race -maybe bounty missions?

A Geth perspective should be a core element and involve some way to tie in the Dark energy storyline and Dholen, the rapidly decaying star.  Of course post ME3 timeline makes this problemattic, unless you consider the mods that kill the reaper AI only and disable their ships.  There was a hint that legion was the agricultural unit that picked up the first sniper rifle to defend the Geth, so it may be interesting to see how Legion changed to be more unique over time. There is also changing a world, Rannoch among others to suit their needs/development.

Some folks want the mass relays rebuilt and in a post destruction galaxy -a challenge!  Some want other galaxies, so maybe we design a new method of travel.  Maybe we use circularly polarized distribution of mini black holes to initiate a wormhole building on the experiments to create mini black holes for research.

It would also be interesting to see what happens to the Krogan Will they blame the Salarians and want revenge for the genophage and turn on every world or will they go back to tuchanka and start over?
Will the Salarians blame the Alliance for there roll in the genophage?

Not to use any of the old characters is an interesting choice. It helps in the universe expansion as a whole (just like what happens with Star Wars/Trek).

Asari, krogan, turian, human... all races, they should appear as much as possible. Just like Kelly, I love'em all.

Bioware seems to want to deliver a more "open world" gameplay for the next game wich can be good for the expansion process. I hope they mean it. What can we expect now, since Casey left the studio?
