Pretty much yeah. People have been saying bf4 would be a good indicator of pc performance for a few weeks.
For almost a year, more like
But it's good to have confirmation that the reqs indeed are the same.

Quad-core for minimum? How silly. No DAI it seems
UK, depends on how much the cost is going to be and if I can buy it preassembled?
If you want to buy prebuilt in the UK, I'd buy from Scan every day of the week. Something like this is a great system, can easily be tweaked to go cheaper (and just as easily to go super expensive).
OS : Windows 7 Premium 64 Bit
CPU : Intel® Core i3-2100 CPU @ 3.1GHz
RAM : 8.00 GB
GPU : GeForce GT 630 2GB
Not the most savvy when it comes to these stuff. Would I be able to at least swing mid range without upgrading (the GPU probably needs to be done innit)?
Your CPU isn't bad, but is dual core. So dunno about that.
Your GPU seems like it's below minimum
While my PC will run it fine, this is when I wish I had a PC like PC Gamer's 'The Large Pixel Collider' with it's quad SLI Titans... Play this beauty in 4k. I can dream lol
Thanks. Worth trying I guess. I don't have a second 970, but I also don't absolutely need 60fps. If only the damned 16:10 monitors didn't put me back almost double that of their 16:9 equivalents at 2560:1440.
If i'm you i probably go for a 2nd 970 if i already have one. For me personally, 60fps is required for first person shooters. I love 16:10 aspect ratio. It has more pixels compared to 16:9. However, too bad the industry favors 16:9.

Graphics card definitely needs an upgrade. Not sure about medium settings, as the GPU is below min. required.
So my i5 2500k and gtx 570 should run this sucker at medium at least at 900p right?
Man, I have no idea what that even means. I'm going to write exactly what is on the sticker for my gaming laptop xD:
CPU: Intel® Core i5-4200M CPU @2.50 GHz 2.50 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M/2GB DDR(? Faded now)
Memory: 8GB
HDD: 1TB
A friend found me this laptop on a bargain when I asked to find me something that could play Battlefiend 4 at least medium. Is this good enough for DAI? ;___;
It should at least run. Not on high settings but it'll run.
And I'm stuck with a 2.8GHz i7 and a Radeon 7850. It's times like these I'm glad my monitor still runs at 1920x1080. If BF4 was any indication my graphics card and processor will just make it punching above their weight again.
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm running on a dual core machine. Will I be able to run this on minimum, at least? I expect a performance drop, just want to know if I can actually run it.

Yeah, maybe, but that's after I try DAI with one. No need to waste money on something I won't need, especially since I don't play fps games as a rule.

You don't say!
I agree with the preference though. I find the width/height ratio of 16:9 somewhat irritating.

I like the interface, though I think the ability to adjust it's scale would be nice. If not, I won't be too upset... You can have the whole UI auto-hide when you are out of combat anyway.
Yes, although you're probably gonna play it at low settings.
Ah okay
Thanks for answering. Least it'll run. I think my CPU is okay (intel core i7-3630QM 2.4Ghz, 2.4Ghz) but it'll bottleneck because of the graphics card.
I think I'm good but seeing as I haven't played a current game(2013+) in a while I'm not too sure what kind of settings I'll be able to get. Could someone with a bit more know how take a look?
OS : Windows 8.1 64-bit

I guess my question got drowned by too much traffic, but since you appear to have experience with 30" monitors: what kind of GPU and VRAM would you need to run DAI at 2560x1600 at highest settings? The specs list doesn't say which resolution they use.
Others may have already answered, but at that res you will most likely need a card from just below the top tier cards. I'm talking the GTX 780, 780TI, the AMD R9 290, 290X. Nvidia's new 970 and 980's are already out, and the ideal choice would be the 980. And you should opt for the 3GB and 4GB versions of each of these. 2GB might not be able to push Ultra at 1440p.

Since you are in the UK, allow me to recommend PC Specialist: you choose the parts, they put it together (though they also sell limited pre-built systems). Their forum has plenty of people who will advise you on your build's specs, if you're not sure. All my friends who've bought computers from them are very pleased with the results, and my next system will be from them too, when I can afford to upgrade.
For those asking dual core - one of the min-specish dual core workstations I have does indeed run the game, and not too terribly. I haven't played all that far though, and I'm not sure if we'd officially support it, so your mileage may vary.
It's a Xeon 5150 2.66GHz, with an 8800GTX (512mb), 4GB RAM.
With the use of the test program 3dmark, i was able with my new gtx 980, 3 year old i7 cpu and 16gb ram to score 92% better then most results, and 10% better of what is rated as a high end gaming pc.
Max graphics, here i come
Where'd you get the 980 from? I know the prices are decent now, I'm trying to judge when there will be new products out in the coming weeks and when they might drop again.
