Are you going by CAD or USD? I looked around a bit but didn't find much else that was better. Sales change prices per week too though.

The HAF layout should be pretty nice for my setup, I've got it mostly arranged and it seems quite open and clear of case sides. Thanks for the tip tho! I might switch to liquid at a later point, I've no experience with that stuff yet and just wanted to keep it simpler.

Ohhh, sorry I didn't see the CAD. Yeah, it's probably fine then :)

I might be able to run this gorgeous baby on maximum-ish settings.

Bioware, what can I say, man, I love you long time.

Of course it's slower than the desktop 980, but it is faster than most desktop cards out there, and it's available in some pretty amazing laptops. P35x v3 is starting at $2100 and only 0.8 inches thick, cheaper than the Razer Blade.

i dont want to know how loud and hot this notebook will get under full load..

Also, it has 8GB VRAM, so it meets Shadow of Mordor recommended specs to use the Ultra texture pack with downsampling. The desktop 980 cards currently on the market have only 4GB VRAM and are below specs for this game. Even if you have a beastly desktop with four GTX 980's in SLI, the frame buffer is mirrored and you are still stuck with only 4GB VRAM.

i guess those few "enthusiasts" rather have a 4way Titan Black SLI already^^
and 6GB VRAM needed for the best textures? sorry, but the programmers responsible for this f*cksh*t are incapable idiots imo, really, i´m sorry for this words.

Well, they didn't go back and optimize things to make the game run better, just the specs were changed - hmm...maybe someone noticed the 660 and 7870 cards are not available with 3GB?  :P

Did they show a screenshot of the inventory and skills? Or is it just the same as the console versions?

Origin @OriginInsider

Check out the first look at the beautiful PC version of Dragon Age: Inquisition! Screenshots, system reqs, & more: http://bit.ly/1s2VxKI

Recommended:
OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD six core CPU @ 3.2 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 3.0 GHz
System RAM: 8 GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7870 or R9 270, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Graphics Memory: 3 GB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX 11

Or, if you're playing on a slightly older setup, here are the minimum system requirements:

Minimum:
OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD quad core CPU @ 2.5 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 2.0 GHz
System RAM: 4 GB
Graphics CARD: AMD Radeon HD 4870, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Graphics Memory: 512 MB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX 10

I'm pretty terrible at determining these sorts of things...if it is not a bother, is it possible to tell if my specs look doable for the minimum settings?  Thank you in advance :)

HP laptop

Windows 7 Home Premium

Intel® Core ™ i5 CPU M460 @ 2.53 GHz 2.53 GHz

4.00 GB RAM

64-bit OS

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6370 Graphics card

DirectX11

394 GB available HD

512 MB dedicated graphics/total available 2202 MB

Thank you!! :)

What is your display resolution? Pretty sure this won't be able to handle 1080p or 900p, maybe 1366x768 or 1280x720 on lower settings?

660 can have 3GB.

Oh, I stand corrected.

I'm honestly so happy right now knowing my computer beats the recommended requirements, I hope it runs as smooth as butter on the high/ultra settings now. Thank you Bioware for creating a game that I have fallen in love with!

your gpu is low-end, the cpu a dualcore with HT... lowest settings should work.

660 can have 3GB.

*should have 3GB with its 192bit MI... nvidia acted stupid there.

You can try reducing the resolution of the game below your native 1600x900 display, down to 1280x720 or so. It doesn't look very good, but that might be the only way you can play it.

Can anyone give me some perspective into my PC specs in contrast to the minimum please?

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

CPU: AMD A4-3300 Dual Core @ 2.5GHz

RAM: 4GB

Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6410D

Graphics Memory: 512MB

Direct X11

I'm mainly worried about the fact that I've only got a dual-core processor, in addition to the graphics card.

Quick question from a lowly consoler: I've just had to have my Alienware X51 scrapped and replaced (under waranty, so hey! Free replacement!) and I just got a new game card for it (though I haven't installed it since the computer itself has not yet arrived).

Is a GeForce GTX 760 good enough for this game?

Edit: Never mind. I'm stupid. :P
