Wait, is Inquisition not compatible with Windows 8.0? I run some software which glitches on 8.1 so I've been setting off upgrading for a while. Will I have to choose between said software and DAI? I mean I'm not cancelling my pre-order or anything and worse comes to worse I guess I'll give dual-boot a try, but this sounds worrying.
OS aside, minimum is not a problem, like I thought. Recommended?
CPU: Intel quad core CPU @ 3.0 GHz Check, 3.4GHz
System RAM: 8 GB Check, 16 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Check, GTX 960
Graphics Memory: 3 GB Check, 4 GB
Hard Drive: 26 GB Check
DirectX 11 Check
Neato! Let's hope my OS won't be a problem ^^;
We have a visitor from the future!!!!!!

You should be fine. ![]()
All my computer will tell me is that my Raedon is somewhere in the 6800 series. Good enough?
Hey guys can anybody help me? Can I run it with Nvidia GeForce GTS 450??
With so many cards on the market, even a seasoned PC builder can get confused. But yes your cards should theoretically work. I generally use this site to check GPU rankings.
Radeon 4870 (minimum) scores 1375 on PassMark.
Radeon 6850 scores 2237. I used to own one of these before I sold my PC, it was a great card.
GTS 450 scores 1546.
8 core @ 4.0
16gb ram
gtx760 4gb
In theory, I should be able to play at a constant 60 on ultra, yes?
FINALLY!
Sod it. 6 is so close to 7 on the keyboard, you know? Or perhaps my mind just went "budget 6xx? nah, budget 9xx" and ran with it without thinking. =D *updates post*We have a visitor from the future!!!!!!
I hope so. There are slight differences between 8.0 and 8.1 however, which do screw things at times. AMD has said they're not going to support 8.0 with drivers in the future for instance, which was part of what made me pick an nVidia card over an AMD one since I wasn't planning on leaving 8.0 for a while yet.You should be fine.
I've got a 660ti so I should be able to hit high at least and maybe a bit better although it's the 2gb card. This is a relief however I still plan to get the 970 by the new year. Incidentally I think very few 3gb 660's exist so I wonder how they calculated that spec?
Well people where pretty close with calling BF4 as benchmark those are pretty close
i hope i get my upgrade till then.. my PC right now scratches minimum with CPU and Ram only my GTX 660 fares better
Great, glad I'm able to play the game. Too bad they don't show the difference between using mantle and not, but glad to see some footage of pc gameplay.
I only don't understand one thing. At the recommended section video card they say you need a Nvidia geforce GTX 660. However the graphic memory needs to be 3 GB, but the nvida gtx 660 has only 2 GB (at least my video card has).

Man, here I hoped you were from the future and could give me the correct numbers for some lotteries. Such disappointment.
Damn.
I meet every mimimum setting except that I have an Intel HD 3000 card instead of a Radeon or Nvidia one.
Guess its time to upgrade after all.

970 is not exactly a budget card, when they release the 960, then we have a budget card :3
Thanks Hrungr.
Interesting PC UI. I see they've keep the same geometric shapes and more modern look of DA2. After playing Skyrim I find that I like the clean look more than the chunky UI of DAO. However, I'm not keen on the portrait and health bar setup in the top left; reminds me too much of WoW. I preferred the DA2 setup which enabled me to see more of the game world and have a more immersive experience.
I did not read the description as I don't care to know anything regarding locations and such until I play the game itself. Any hints as to whether we will be able to customize the UI, move things around?
My PC is right on the Recommended specs, so I'm happy about that, although I tend to prefer to play without the fan spinning at full-boar. I turned off DX11 in DA2 because of this even though I ran it comfortably.
Looking at the rest of the specs and mine (though I'm most definitely not an expert) it appears like I'm okay with everything else. It's usually the graphics cards that confuse me. Why do they have to have such complicated names and numbers all over the place x_x
It is slightly confusing when they change up the numbers (as they changed from 9XXX to 2XX). The first number is generation series, so yours is generation 4. The most important number is the second number, so as your video card is a 450, your card is generally not pushed for heavy gaming. When you hit 460 or higher is when you see better results for gaming for the video card generation.
That should make you understand the numbering system for graphics cards a bit easier. ;p
Recommended specs says GTX 660... but that card have 3 GB of VRAM? something is weird there.
Yay, my pc can quite handle it. But i plan on getting new stuff for it anyway.
Hey guys, will I be able to run it on low at least, what do you think? I'm such a noob when it comes to these things.
cpu: intel core i5 4200u cpu @ 1.60 GHz 2.30 GHz
ram: 6 gb
vcard: nvidia 720m 2 gb
I7 477k 3.5Ghz
16 gig ram
3 gb R9280X
Terabyte of free data storage.
I'm ready for Inquisition.
Hmmm...my GTX 650 Ti with 1GB GDDR5 will not be enough. ![]()

The oddity is the minimums are
Geforce 8800 GTS scores 853
Radeon 4870 HD scores 1375
So, what if you're in the middle? Do we need better Radeons than Geforces?

Heh, that's almost like my new system, only I have a 4GHz CPU. About the OS, I've read somewhere that it's actually "Windows 7 or above" so you should be fine. Or I'll have problems too.
