I'm just commenting on the topic and showing my frustration.
Again, I'm happy for the PS4 and PC owners.
Two days ago I was so excited talking to Aaryn Flynn and now this.

Because it's 900...? I mean you are free to do whatever with your own money, but if you were really excited for this game and a slightly lower resolution makes you not buy it...

They won't be perfect in 1080p either. The game play videos that Bioware have put out are more than likely 4k PC graphics. I thought everyone realised that.

Yes? Sorry I'm confused, are you cancelling your Xbox preorder and preordering the PS4 version? To not play this game at all because of a few more jaggies on TVs 50 inches or above seems strange. The PS4 version isn't the ideal version graphically either but that doesn't matter to me at all.

Yes. It will look the same as on the PS4, with only a hint of blur when you watch it with a magnifying glass.
Ryse is still considered one of the best looking game and that one was 900p as well.
Cancelling your preorder is an overreaction to something that simply won't be as a big of a problem as you're imagining.

I must see some finished gameplay on X1 after the release date before deciding buying again.
It's just me frustrating trying to understand why we have some games running 1080p on X1 and others simply don't.

Whats the problem here? You get it for PS4. Why would having a 360 matter when you have a next-gen console? Why the "aaaaaaargh"?

That's because the Xbox one is not as powerful as they would need to run DA:I with the graphical fidelity it has at 1080p.

Because some developers have the xbox one figured out better and/or some other features get sacrificed for a higher resolution. It's a compromise. Unfortunately, the xbox one has a weaker GPU and less sustained memory bandwith than the PS4, which makes it more difficult and in some cases impossible to reach parity with PS4. But at the end of the day, in practice, the differences are rather small fidelity wise.

I agree the graphics were awesome on Ryse. It's not all about 1080p

180p isn't going to make that much of a difference: it's less than 17%. Shadow of Mordor looks pretty much the same on PS4 and XBO, and they're running at 1080p and 900p, respectively.
Wouldn't you rather the game plays smoothly at 180p less or have performance problems if BW decided to bump it to 1080p without it being properly supported? Besides, some XBO games that have shipped with > 1080p have been upscaled later via patch. Could happen here, as well.
If you absolutely have to play it at 1080p, I'd suggest you wait, see if there's a patch coming for the XBO and get it then.
As an X1 user, I don't care. It'll look great on all systems, and if Shadow of Morder is anything to go by, the difference between the two resolutions is insanely negligible.

possible sure. but i doubt most have that much to spend on a top notch pc and that setup to go with it...
