Either way the data necessary to paint an accurate picture of the trend is not present. There are other factors to consider that do not seem to have been covered in the report. Simply bowing to the supposed expertise of a source that doesn't provide hard numbers for fact checking goes against the very concept of professional accuracy through effective peer review.
DMC does not work for free, if you want actual figures you have to purchase a report from them. They do market analysis to sell that information, hence the lack of solid figures published.
Sales do not = performance. If you're going to start a flamewar about superiority, don't pull from consumer purchase. It's pointless. You think every consumer out there is intricately familar with graphics rendering and processing power? Uhh, no. It's about convenience and affordability. PC epically fails on both latters. If you want to fight your point, learn to concede with the other side a little bit. For example, I concede that consoles are more affordable and user-friendly. Just buy the unit, pop in the disc, and play. BUT I refute that by also stating that PC performance is quantafiably better than console gameplay. 4K resolution, MSAA and graphics settings, and new technologies such as G-Sync all inarguably put PC on top in terms of graphic power.
Dude you arent making much sense. i was merely responding to the idea that consoles are more popular then pcs or that they make more money.
Also sorry about the grammar in my last few posts, im currently on a tablet.
