You're right - I don't know what I was thinking. They should hire Casey Hudson back to make the message even better.
They should dress him up as TIM and have him attend meetings. ![]()

But only if they plagiarised from DX:HR this time. The copy and paste original DX ending doesn't work for me now.
Hmmm. The options would be to A) tell the Alliance that the Reapers want to destroy everyone to prevent organics from making AI, stopping all AI research in the galaxy
tell the Alliance that the Reapers biggest fear is AI, encouraging widespread development of AI or C) blow up the Citadel, hiding any evidence that the Catalyst even existed.
I'd choose C.
Because those things are far less likely to happen then simply asking for 1080/60p. It would be a port of the ME games, not a remastering. You're talking about adding new content, which if they do is great. But realistically, it's better to not expect something that's unlikely to happen. 60ps makes a significant difference in gameplay. 1080p looks great and there's no reason they shouldn't be able to get all the games running at that resolution on these new machines.
I think your post would be right at home on forum contemplating on 2.0 patch of some indie game. : p
We speak of one of the established AAA - flagship franchises of a Publisher that routinely invests Nasa mission budgets on a single video game. It is a shame how quickly it starts to feel we are " asking too much". Well, I think it is a shame. EA most assuredly loves it. It has to be awesome to be able to sell people pretty much literally the same game all over again..just coated in 60 FPS& touch sweeter eye candy. Re-releases seem to sell quite well. The money spend vs money back ratio must be absolutely obscenely ridiculously gigantic for TLOU, Halo, GTA V re-releases.
Since nobody seems to be in any particular hurry to make any really good games for the NewGen, people seem to be perfectly happy with buying their old favorite games again. Halo, GTA V..I believe these will prove to be huge hits.The Last of Us on PS4 most assuredly was.
I'm 100% sure we'll have our 1080p ME yet.
With complete feature list looking something like
*1080p!
* All DLC
* Bonus rifle
* Special Xbone N7 tshirt in-game
and people are going to be all OMG AT LAST

So vote with your wallet and don't buy it.

Yeah well, my vote doesn't count, result of the election does;p
I'm betting Halo Master Chief Collection will not only be a huge hit, but also an actual system seller. Once this happens, you can just hear the collective " holy ****, people actually buy this??" from each major publisher. 10 year old FPS games. In 1080. And people are all OMG MUST GET MAH XBONE. It sends a pretty strong message.

They already know that people will buy remakes and remastered games. Have you forgotten about the ones that were released before these new machines were made available?
YES YES YES !!!!!!!!!! ![]()

To be honest, I kinda have.
When it comes to recent major AAA re-sells of older AAA games, I can't remember all that many.

The Resident Evil games are always being remade.
DOOM3 and it's expansion.
Silent Hill 1,2,3.
Orange Box
Halo:CE
Bully
Counter-Strike
The God of War games
Those are off the top of my head. This business of porting and remastering older games for newer consoles isn't anything new.

I hate this
By Jove, I think we've got it! Of course, it goes without saying that Shepard didn't ask for this. Right?
I don't have a quippy response, but well done.
Maybe in ten years. At this point the only change would be similar to the Tomb Raider "HD" remake.
For those who are wondering what my poll choices are:
Poll #1= Yes
Poll #2= Yes & Not sure
The first game doesn't look that bad so it doesn't really need massive graphics update. However I did just go back to play ME2 and ME3, the way they did the DLC on PC is terrible so I would consider buying a remastered trilogy if the DLC is included without extra cost, and the price is reasonable, the price of 1 AAA game perhaps.
I don't need a reason to play the ME trilogy, that series is golden.

The shadows in the first ME weren't the best ![]()
Really it's just ME1 that needs remastering, that game has aged awfully. ME2 is better, and ME3 was only 2012.

I agree on that, though I don't mind ME1 (or 2 & 3) to be exactly the same. I just want to able to play the trilogy on my X1.
