Has BioWare said anything about it? Really hoping it's in the game, absolutely loved it in the Mass Effect games.

No NG+, if I recall correctly.  But you can keep playing the game after you finish the main quest (assuming you survive).

no word on New Game+ but there is a after game mode once you complete the Main Story Quests. So once you complete the Main Story you can continue playing to explore the world, collect things you may have missed, complete quests you missed, continue to control your Inquisition, and etc.

I want to say they went with a playable post-game state at the cost of NG+. No, that doesn't make terribly much sense to me either.

While I like being able to continue playing after the main story, I like replaying the game at max level with the best gear even more.

Would have loved NG+, but I think it's been confirmed so far that it's not in the game. We'll be able to continue after the main story is over though.

I assume it's that way to open up to possible follow up Expansions/DLCs. Like Awakening

No NG+ but you can keep playing after the main quest is done. I am thinking it has to do with the level cap, actually.

I think it has more to do with the lack of scaling enemies. With NG+ you'd just curbstomp everything even if your PC wasn't at the cap.

Do people complain about Skyrim not having NG+?

The Dragon Age franchise never had a NG+ mode anyway, so it's not like we're missing anything.

Well if they don't have NG+, here's hoping they have decent console commands...

You do know that console commands aren't there for users but for testing.

I was hoping for NG+ but I appreciate you confirming this.

My issues with lack of NG+ are mitigated considerably by the fact that we can keep playing post-game. My biggest issues with Origins and DA2 was that once I'd finished the plot all I could do was run around Camp/Hawke Manor. It made everything deeply dissatisfying.

I would guess that it's also because too much of the player progression is tied to Inquisition progress, which is something that would logically need to reset in a new game.

There will be no NG+.

That's disappointing, but thanks for coming out to confirm it.
