AH, thats what I thought. Celene might be a good choice after all. This thread is extremely biased against Celene so I'm wry to trust anything people say in here. As I said, I'll reserve my own opinion for what I see in game and in the epilogue. There had better be an epilogue.

 

As for no option for Briala and Celene to get back together, thats not shocking. Its a sad ending to their romance but there sure doesn't seem like any good solution. They're better off separate at this point.

Icy reception now greet the Inquisition in the imperial court. Where most prefer that Orlais bow to no one-not even the heroes. Thus, many believe that when the tide again turns, Celene will stand alone."

According to the guide there is a way to have Celene and Briala reconcile.  There is also a way to have all 3 agree to work together and if you save Celene you can frame Briala or Gaspard for it. If you help Gaspard he invades Ferelden.

Oh god, I need the guide now. I can't make a decision until I know all the possible outcomes.

 

If you could, tell us what is required to get Celene and Briala to reconcile. I seriously doubt that means they are getting back together again but the pragmatic solution would be to make a deal with whoever ends up emperor.

And now I really don't want to side with Gaspard. Even after all the chaos in the wake of the events of DA: I, that pompous fool still wants to invade Ferelden. Well, at least hes true to his word. I'll give him that.

These Orlesians are the craziests peoples. If I do have to re-establish the Chantry's authority I'm moving it somewhere else. Maybe I'll dump it in the Frostback Mountains near Haven. Afterwards I'll see what I can do about putting itching powder in their breeches.
