If that is your concern, they maybe it's the non-Andrastian elves that should be encouraged to convert. Andrastianism is already the main dominant religion in Thedas and thus, it would make them more easily accepted by other nations.

And second, "more easily accepted by other nations"? The Alienage Elves have practically converted to bloody Andraste for centuries and they're still not "accepted".

Yeah, exactly. since there are so much fewer Dalish than City Elves; for instance, the clan in Masked Empire had around 50 while Val Royeaux's alienage has 10000; conversion will be much simpler and thus necessitate lesser strife amongst the elves.

 

And second, "more easily accepted by other nations"? The Alienage Elves have practically converted to bloody Andraste for centuries and they're still not "accepted".

There are quite a bit of difference between intra and international relations. It's quite easy for someone to short change an elf.

Less so to order an Exhalted March against a fellow Andrastian realm.

 

And even if it doesn't help, it certainly won't hurt. Spitting on the Maker will.

You know, a professor of mine recently observed that the Chinese Confucian and Roman cult systems were actually very similar in their function. Both shared a similar connection between governance and participation in the imperial cult, with a similar accommodation of local beliefs and deities, it's how they were able to successfully govern diverse peoples.

Of course, you would run the same risk the Romans did, with the monotheists refusing to make sacrifice to other gods.

As I understand, it's thesis is that the Neanderthal ancestry of Jews and other Caucasian people makes them "psychosexually maladaptive" and "overly agressive", and that this is behind their involvement with the Atlantic slave trade and western imperialism.

This assumes the elves are passive actors with no agency in the shaping of their own culture. This has never been true of any underclass group. What tends to happen is that the group in question adopts aspects of the other culture as necessary and as appeals to them, even then they interpret that culture through their own lense. For example, I am currently writing my thesis on the development of distinct forms of Christianity among African American slaves. White preachers that told them to "be obedient to thy masters" didn't get an enthusiastic audience, those that emphasized the equality of all souls before God and the promise of justice in the afterlife on the other hand... Slaves saw hell as a place inhabited primarily by white slaveholders and even used their faith to assert moral superiority over whites, it became a source of strength and confidence for their community. Christianity might have come to them from the Europeans, but they made it their own. The same can be said of various places held under European colonialism, the collide of traditions gave rise to a hybridity of cultures in its aftermath.
EDIT: For that matter, the cultural transmission is often not one way. To use my thesis example, black preachers (Even those still enslaved), gained surprisingly diverse followings from whites and blacks alike. One slave preacher I've been reading claimed that his own master and other slaveholders brought their families to attend the prayer meetings he led. So the "underclass" culture is quite capable of influencing the "dominant" culture.

I deny the document because it is false, even the librarian who found it later said she believed it to be false. As to whether African Americans still suffer psychologically from the memory of slavery and persecution, certainly I believe it can be a thing. However, not hating all white people as you apparently would wish them to is not psychological damage. Quite the opposite really. As for your personal psychological issues, I suggest you seek help.

I may be in favor of elves gaining more rights and being treated better, but the suggestions going around are insane. Dislocate all humans, divide the land and give it to the elves to rule without recourse and force their old culture upon them, a culture a vast majority of them have no knowledge of, a language all but forgotten, and a religion that is outlawed by the Chantry, a Chantry most elves grew up in is a recipe for hate-crimes, disaster and a blood-bath. 

 

 

In the end, the most reasonable outcome I see for the elves is continuing to dwindle because of the inevitable mingling with a more dominant group, especially since elf/human coupling just results in what is essentially another human.
