The Native Americans would disagree. So would the enslaved Africans. And the Native Hawaiians. The Aboriginals of Australia. The extinct indigenous people of Tasmania and Haiti. If they could all raise their hands they would, but you killed them all.ah yes, its not racist, its scientifically true that white people are genetically predisposed towards aggression and brutality!
Like I said, phrenologists and flat Earthers would shake their head at you
Empress Celene... vile traitor OR savior of Orlais?

I don't know why you keep bringing up examples, as if there was never an empire of PoC that was violent or brutal, like the Mongolians, the Japanese, the Mughals, the Persians, the Arabs, the Zulus, the Chinese, the Huns, the Turks, the Egyptians, the Carthaginians, the Aztecs, the Sioux, the Inca, the Malians, the Songhai, the Cambodians, the Khmer
the list goes on.

I never said I hated anyone, I just see who they really are.
Literally one of the most common things racists and bigots say. "I dont hate them I'm just calling it like I see it!" Is one of your best friends also white?

Hola. I like your new avatar, even if Mercy is best girl.
Thanks. I will agree that Mercy is a really good character. Easily my favorite Support character. D.Va is my favorite Tank, Mei is my favorite Defense, and Tracer or Pharah my favorite Offense.

You obviously do not know what racism really means do you? Racism means you have to be a bigot + privilege + power to oppress a specific people of different ethnicity by socially, by education, environmentally, & economically. You have to be a person of power to become one.Literally one of the most common things racists and bigots say. "I dont hate them I'm just calling it like I see it!" So, Celene, anyone?
Fairly terrible person, in my opinion, but reconciling her with Briala is, I believe, the least worst option.

She's no worse a politician as Gaspard at least and with Briala she might do some good for the elves. So, Celene, anyone?

Best option of those available.

Yes. I also think Celene is a lot weaker without Briala. Briala is actually better at the Game and with the Eluvian network, Elven improvement should be a given, and at least there will be support in two countries now. I think Fereldan was getting better about elves and now Orlais will with a Celene, Briala combo.

I don't know. The reconciliation option just really bugged me, that whole relationship is unhealthy.

Briala controlling Gaspard struck me as too unstable. If it's made public somehow, the whole thing falls apart. Furthermore, Gaspard is quite a bit older than Celene, and things could collapse just as easily when he dies. Even further, Gaspard has not yet demonstrated Celene's skill or vision in the matter of peaceful statecraft; he's better at war, but frankly, I don't want an Orlais that's focused on war.
Alistair/Anora isn't the most healthy relationship either, but politically, it was best for Ferelden, in my opinion.

Then side with celene as celene cares about it while Gaspard doesn't give a damn about education i

I don't think being part of the upper orlaisian society allows for any kind of healthy relationship, sadly.

Of course its dean that replied. Two sjws enter, nobody cares who leaves
Yep, they're basically the same person...sigh.
Regardless of a person' opinions and values, I can enjoy reading his or her post if they're well written and make sense. I always enjoyed reading Dean's post (expecially since I'm a history fan myself). And his contribution his better then just doing flame baiting like youself.

I'd say all the options in Orlais' succession plot are generally on the same level, more or less. While Celene and Briala's might work better in term of relationship between elves and humans, the fact that you have to reunite them without the option of them being just friends or allies is stupid, in my opinion.
Alistair and Anora isn't on the same level, in my opinion. Arranged marriage isn't a far-fetched idea in a medieval-type world. I do think though that unhardened Alistair with Anora is serously unbalanced, since Alistair is practically manipulated (not that it's that different from any unhardened Alistair being king ending. You just have to pick who's really in charge between Eamon. Anora or the Warden. Possibly not only in Alistair and the Warden as king and queen). Hardened Alistair and Anora works a lot better, and it's my favourite outcome.

The thing is that my Inquisitor doesn't know the details of any skeeviness from TME, so it'd be impossible to make a decision based on that. Given that Briala doesn't look much like her book counterpart, I have my doubts that much from it was taken into account anyway, so I'd say it's an open question how unhealthy the DAI relationship is.

That's true, I was spoken more as myself, not based on my characters, who doesn't know the details of what happened in TME. My characters can take that option, though I still question if it's a good choice based on the books (I can't put it aside).

That's one reason why I refuse to read the book, to maintain player/character separation (also because it still seems like trash throughout).
