It's really hard to get good shots. When your characters get hurt it does the blood effect on your screen, and when many are hurt it flickers a lot.

I change it a lot, but right now, it's Krogan_Raider.

Thanks to crashsuit for telling me on how to do it, I learned how to spam the MPbots...

You lose control of your own character for the entirety of the game (if you're the host).

 

I don't know how to make more than one extra mpbot, but here's me duoing with mine as host. I set mpbots true, then set it false again, and I was able to get back into my player by toggling spectate, and I kept my bot. My bot used powers, but mine were locked out. I was able to add extra powers like normal, though, and I gave us both Claymores, though they seem to be at level 1. In my bot's case, they had the Claymore in addition to the Shuriken or whatever, but they didn't switch weapons. In my case, I had the Claymore plus my CSMG and Acolyte - 3 weapons! My bot isn't earning points for anything but I am. We're also both invulnerable, though low health effects still trigger, and we can get synced, but get right back up again. Seems like it locked other people out of joining, maybe. Also, for a while after toggling spectate to get back into my player, I got stuck playing in FPV, but it reset to 3rd person after a little while.

I already did that yesterday. They fought Collectors on Ghost Hazard. The Slayers were destructive against Geth too.

To make more you need to use the spectate command a few times until your health bar appears and you are where you spawned the first bot (not the other one out in the middle of nowhere). Mpbots true will spawn another. It gets really flickery after the first few.

From my experience, once you spawn a bot, you need to spectate and then undo the spectate, and then spawn another one. If you spawned a bot and you haven't moved back to spectating, and there aren't any enemies present(in-between waves), spawning another bot at this time will cause the spawning bot to fall off the map.

How did you remain in control of your character? My character simply disappears... >_>

I mentioned how I did it earlier in the thread, but I'm going to try repeating it tonight to make sure I have it right.

I think this is similar to what crashsuit mentioned upthread, once I was finished spawning my bot army I would toggle into spectator mode, enter mpbots false, then turn spectator mode off again and it'd always give me control back of my character.

There was one instance when a turianbot got sync'd, then ofc the banshee dropped him since they can't get killed, and I saw him light melee her right afterwards. It was pretty metal.
