Commander Manquarian gives a speech to his soldiers

They're re-enacting the morning war kind of like how people re-enact battles in the American Civil War, just with more soup
"Fourteen score and seven years ago our ancestors brought forth on this planet a new intelligence, conceived synthetically, and dedicated to the proposition that all quarians are created superior.
Now we are engaged in a great galactic war, testing whether that intelligence, or any organic civilization so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure against the Reapers. We are met on a great firebase of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of Firebase Hydra, as a final resting place for those quarians who here gave their soup that Rannoch might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate, we can not consecrate, we can not hallow this ground. The brave quarians, living and ruptured, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The Council worlds will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but they can never forget what they did here. It is for us the unpunctured, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of their Arc Grenades—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have ruptured in vain—that this galaxy, under Keelah, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the quarians, by the quarians, for the quarians, shall not perish from the geth consensus."
