Yes! I'd love to see some more shapeshifting! I missed that in DA2...

Also the character backstories for Inquisition has already been released...

I have to agree with all you. I would definitely like to learn more about Flemeth, Morrigan and her child (if the dark ritual is done, of course). Also about the Architect, Avernus studies (i have them both live well and in their piece of mind).  More about the mages and the story of the circles and of course the truth about Darkspawns and Old Gods.

Well i see that i am asking tooo much. I will be glad to see Bioware to make more dragon age games and gradually reveal all secrets.

Meteor baby? Do you mean the one in Dragon age origin, that was found in a crater?

So many things I can hardly list them, but I definitely want to hear more about Morrigan, the Calenhad Bloodline, Fiona, if Andraste was a mage (or even Abomination), etc.

Also, OP, I suggest putting the Last Flight thing in a spoiler, it's still pretty new.

Oh, god! I totally forgot about meteor baby!... perhaps, Cole? He's a little alienish, right?

More about the mages and the story of the circles and of course the truth about Darkspawns and Old Gods.

If you want to go more in depth with the mages/circle plot, I suggest reading Asunder.

I would like to see a few things addressed in Inquisition, like many others here.  However I doubt that some of what I liked to see addressed would be entirely appropriate for Inquisition, as it may be more appropriate for a later DLC or maybe even a later game.

In DAO I played a female human noble who became Queen.  I feel that a major impetus of that character would be to have a baby, thus securing Alistar's lineage and putting her own noble blood on the throne (especially if her brother the Teryn never remarries and has kids).  This is, in part a major reason, in my mind, why my Warden supported Avernus's studies.  She told he he had to stop experimenting on Wardens, but if my Warden were to ever find out what lengths the Wardens typically go to, such as threatening the family of Malcolm Hawke to make him help with strengthening Coryphyeus's prison, and the other lengths they're willing to go she would likely find and deliver a few Wardens up to Avernus to experiment on to achieve her goals.  Then again, my Warden is not stoked about being a Warden and would consider herself among those who consider themselves "ex-Wardens".  This probably will not be something that will be addressed much in DAI as I can see no reason it would get any focus at all.  The only exception to this being if the Warden and Hero of Ferelden has disappeared because she is pursuing a way for her to have a baby.  If that were part of the reason she's disappeared I would squeal like a little girl and be pleasantly surprised.  However as that is a very specific story line for one character background and one character path it's not liable to get much attention from the devs, hence why, if they addressed it I would scream like a teenage girl at a boy band concert!

Things much more likely to be addressed in DAI:
I want to know more about the OGB.

Flemeth... the theories out there about Flemeth are all equally intriguing.  Who is she?  What is she?  I'm dying to know more.  She is one of the most interesting NPCs throughout the series and we haven't even gotten to see a lot of her.

Was the Golden City really black when the Tevinter Mages found it?  If so, why?  What happened?!  That really throws the religious propaganda sideways concerning the evils of mages!  I hope we find out more in DAI.

NOTHING from DA2... and by nothing i mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from the pseudo "gameplay", the junk, the no say "dialogues" or the "deep story"... luckylly those plights had been already adressed (or at least it seems so)

What I hope to see addressed is:

  •  a dwarven romanceable companion so Dwarves don't had to be xenophillic or be alone, many users will support me on this one
  •  THE ANCIENT GOD CHILD! PLEASE! WHAT HAPPENED WITH MORRIGAN CHILD IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF ON THE LIST
  •  Varric real story about Bianca, I expeculate it involves some bard stuff
  •  Sexy hot heterosexual xenophilic female qunari, I would make my elven inquisitor to woo her. But alas she must be well written, if it translate into another DA2 romantic interest then it would be like the 3 perfect meatballs; A beautyfull lie that desserves to be preserved in a museum, so none would touch it and find its lack of escence
  • Killing Hawke option, I would kill him all the times with every inquisitor in the list

Ooh lots of things - all the things the others have said.  I also want to know more about Cole, having read Asunder and liked it the best of the books, but I guess we're getting that anyway.  Maybe where Rhys and Evangeline are?

01. Pretty much everything surrounding Morrigan, especially her deal with the Eluvians (as a human, I can't imagine it's comfortable or easy for her), Flemeth, and the OGB (when applicable). I know she's intended to be morally ambiguous but I want to see how time has changed her and whether she could be a hero or villain. Part of me thinks she's a potential antagonist, or could be depending on your choices. I do wonder if the OGB will differ depending on who his father was (Warden, Alistair, Loghain), possibly taking on different traits as a result.

02. Flemeth. Just like Morrigan, I want to know where she stands. She helps the Warden and Hawke, for a price. I can also imagine it could have been her that saves the Inquisitor's life in the Summit blast. (Actually, I wouldn't be surprised. It's somewhat of a DA tradition to have Flemeth save the day in the beginning and offer the PC assistance in some form, of course, with strings attached). I can imagine the Inquisitor will be her latest, and possibly most potent pet project. I can also see Morrigan and Flemeth vying for the Inquisitor's allegiance.

03. The Ruler of Ferelden. It's been over ten years since the Blight ended. I want to know how Anora/Alistair/King or Queen Warden is running the place. As much as I don't want to be too 'Ferelden involved' given my interest in the other nations of Thedas, I do want to know how Ferelden's doing since we left.

04. The Ruler of Orlais, for that matter. I want to be able to meet Empress Celene and become directly involved with Orlesian politics. Hopefully even partake in the Grand Game (that, I can imagine, will be a huge highlight of the game, and extremely fun at that). Just like Alistair/Anora/Loghain had their politics, dealing with Celene/Gaspar will be the political intrigue of DAI. I just hope I get to experience it directly and not just through agents or a 'war table'.

05. Where Hawke disappeared off to at the end of DA2. We know he/she will making an appearance. I also want to see the variability of Hawke and how his/her side, demeanor, and choices affect Kirkwall and the Free Marches. Especially a Viscount Hawke.

06. Where a Warden who remains alive and well went off to for that matter. I can see why his/her fate would be more open ended, and for all we know he/she could have succumbed to the taint (as they all do). I can't imagine he/she would be that important now outside of personal context where applicable (Morrigan, Leliana, Alistair, Anora), but still.

07. The fates of previous companions (where applicable), namely the DA2 companions.

08. Getting to meet characters from the books (Masked Empire, Asunder). I like the idea of in-game adaptations for many of these characters (such as Briala), and I know we'll have Cole, so yeah.

Stens whereabouts and whether its canon that he is the Arishok

I know this doesn't really answer your question, as obviously anything I say is not WoG, but I think the way certain events have transpired point to Sten being the Arishok no matter what.

In DA:O, there's really no way to "kill" Sten. The closest action involves leaving him behind in Lothering, thereby assuming he dies when the Darkspawn arrive. However, since it's offscreen, all bets are off obviously.

In DA2, there is no way for the Arishok to return with the Tome of Koslun. He is either killed by Hawke, or loses the Tome anyway if Isabela escapes. In the latter case, I would assume this would lead to him losing his position as Arishok.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that Sten is going to be the Arishok no matter what. Of course, the only problem for this theory is if Sten is booted from the Warden's party, or is never invited at all, what would make him in particular qualified to be Arishok?

Can't you give the tome to the Arishok though? As long as you hand over Isabela the Arishok lives.

Like I said, if you hand over the Tome and Isabela, she will later escape. I'm actually not 100% sure if she actually takes the book with her, I have only heard other people saying as much, but I have not seen the actual dialogue myself.

Hooray, somebody else trying to headcanon how Alistair and Queen Warden were struggling with getting a child! I personally always fantasized that Morrigan gave the female Warden one last little hint on how to do it, and that this was the reason she was missing for a while ... probably that will be made impossible by DAI, yet I still hope they just don't adress the Warden's fate at all, because everything will probably suck anyways! Hooray! :wizard:  ... no, not hooray I mean... :pinched:
