Well yeah that's the point because the dark side rots the body that's the consequence of using it so much and the price for having more "Overall" power. The light side does not rot the body because it works in harmony with the user.

I get that...but since it rot the BODY...why only your face go zombie

Its about time and resources considering majority of the time you are wearing armour its kinda pointless to put veins all over your body at least it goes pale zombie along with your face. Hence why they made it go as far as your neck when you reach Dark 5.

Plus most cut scenes are centred on the face.

Hmm maybe add an option that when you make a decision you could choose either GOOD or EVIL? Cause as some have said some choices is neither good or evil but grey. never thought of that.

Dragon Age just isn't that black and white.

Well I really want  at least the glowing parts with the fade mark, on the hand and the glowing eyes. Cause if you have the fade "stuck" on your hand your mind would change drastically with your actions (like jedis and sith) and thereby change you appearance (like sith get yellow eyes with their evil)

And to see the people react to how you are would be cool =)

No....

Dragon Age has been about letting the player determine what is right and wrong.

For example, in one of the quests shown on a early video there will be choices being Choosing to let the soldier patch their injured, Leave the Injured and head to the Town to save it, or Leave the Injured and head to the Fortress to boost defenses.

all three actions can be seen as both good and evil because if players saves the Injured both the town and fortress will lack proper defense, leaving the injured and saving the town will save innocent people but now the fortress that defends the land  and the soldiers in it may be lost, and leaving the injured to save the fortress will save the fortress which will allow proper defense of the land but the Town will be destroyed for good and all the people in it will be killed.

Each choice has a Good side to it but they also have a Evil side as well.

DAI is about choices but it is about Choices that is seen differently by different people. What one choice in the game may be seen as Evil for someone it may be seen as Good by another while a good choice can be seen as a Evil choice as well by different people.

No...

This isn't a Fable game.

I was thinking more like Star wars  ^_^

But maybe you could select GOOD or EVIL in the character creation menu?

Count me as one of those who doesn't need to see this.  I hated it about Fable, but that was partially because of how 'cartoony' it was.  I mean, little glowing butterflies and stuff if you are good?!?  Gross.

I didn't hate the DS corruption in KOTOR or SWTOR, but I rarely played as DS anyway.

I don't mind people reacting to me differently, but if I'm going to spend hours in the CC (and I am going to), then I don't want my appearance to change based on my actions.

Nopenopenopenope. I very much do not want to see good and evil objectively defined in the DA series. The subjectivity of moral judgments is one of my favorite aspects of DA. Just like in the real world, choices have consequences primarily due to their complex interactions with other people, rather than being a straightforward "this is good, and will make people happy" or "this is bad, and will make people suffer".

Even for choices that are clearly cruel, the lack of moral labeling forces me to confront the enormity of what I made the PC do, rather than having it reduced to +10 EVILTUDE. Likewise, when my PC busts their butt to do something genuinely heroic, it would cheapen the moment to see a meter fill up afterward.

I have to say no as well, as some one who likes RPing its annoying when my reasoning for a certain action was good but I end up with bad guy points (includes the other way around as well). Heck as a sith in Swtor there were several quests where the light side option made sense as a dark sider and the "bad" guy option made you act like an insane psychopath.

I have to admit that while the idea is nice, it isn't feasible simply because Dragon Age has no karma meter. It's a grey sort of world and it is very strange to have a system that works specifically for something morally binary(Mass Effect for example) where there is a moral spectrum (Dragon Age). The next mass effect would really benefit from something like this though!

It just sounds way too Fable to me to have the partical affects and all that.  Not to mention I agree with others that DA is not that kind of game and most of our choices in it are actually moral grey areas.  We tend to have a lot of choices that aren't what can be classified as good or evil.  Which is part of why ME origionally went with paragon and renegade even though that fizzled somewhere along the way.

And as for SWTOR. You do have an affect if you go full light side. it's just extremely subtle so it's very easy to miss.  You actually get a slight golden colour to you and a very thin layer of aura when you go full light side.  I only know this because I took a character full Neutral back in the early days of SWTOR because they promised us upcoming Neutral Rewards to go with the light and the dark that never came.  It seems we who did that were extremely few in number.
