So I'm trying to get Gibbed Mass Effect save editor to work, but I've run into a problem.
So my goal this playthrough was to only romance Miranda, but I accidentally romanced Ashley. So I blew her up. But I still like her more than Kaiden, so I tried to edit my save file to have her live. It didn't work. Does anybody know about why this is happening? I've set my file to say I've completed the game, checked my flags, and everything. Does anybody know why it isn't working?
Ran into that also and found that dual romance in ME2 injects a romance bug into ME3 that can mess the game up in more ways than I ever imagined. No kidding, I could write a short story about the weird things that this bug can cause. I found the best fix was to back up to a save before dual romance in ME2 then finish ME2 and save it -then start ME3 with the new ME2 import.
Alternatively, you can start a fresh ME3 game and save it ASAP then modify its save file settings in the gibbed editor for flash changes, save the changes and restart ME3 - it should work fine. Make sure you have the latest gibbed.me3save editor. Nexus probably has the latest, but do a search to make sure. Then just make sure the ME1 changes match the ME2 and so forth. Look at the gibbed readme for some of the less obvious settings.
It could very well be things like these decision tree issues played a part in the ME3 ending.
DA inquisitions uses more of a short story approach like in genesis for the player to add the previous decisions, as two family decisions from two games is difficult to integrate as you can imagine.
Lastly check out Warranty voider ME3 Explorer there are several versions, I use the developer one for more options.
Good luck
