I'm not entirely sure what your point is.

It is a couple of examples of women knights/warriors of the period. In other words..women in armor.
Relax. There's no need to be so confrontational.
So long as there are options for a female PC to wear armor that does not conform to the shape of her breasts, then that's really all I'm hoping for. Breast shapes molded into the armor bugs me even more than breast windows, honestly. And sure, boob armor is impractical (and potentially injurious to your breast bone), but more than that, I think it looks ridiculous, like the designer thinks boobs are the only way of identifying a character as female. Like they're afraid that people might mistake the character for a man if they don't show boob shapes in the armor. Breasts are not the only thing that makes a woman a woman, and not all women have them, after all (and some people who have them -aren't- women).
Embellishments, fabric tunics, skirts/kilts, different colors, all of that is great and I hope we see at least some of those things as options in DAI. I totally get wanting to look pretty/fancy/extravagant, etc.

Armor, sure, but not plate armor, except for Joan d'Arc. As I said, all those examples are likely to have worn something along the lines of mail armor, which is pretty much form-fitting by its nature.

It would actually be possible to 'show the boobs' without using boob armor by simply making it a uniboob. So instead of modelling each boob in the armor individually, one would simply give the armor a slight uniform bulge around the upper torso.

1 in pretty sure madam DeMontford wore armor and there were female Samurai.
but in all cases these were the exeption to the rule.
2 Probably.

Thing is, plenty of historic "male" armour had a similar shape to the "uniboob". Not that that kind of stuff ever makes it into games, but if done properly, it would not by any means be an indicator of femininity.
Boob shape in plates is dumb but I didn't mind it on light and some medium sets where it made sense.
I hate the mage robe 'cups' where there's a circle drawn around each breast. It looks so dumb!
You talkin about the underwire type thing?
You talkin about the underwire type thing?

I don't think this can be called underwire...
Look, it was super important to call attention to Wynn's boobies. There was a very important plot point there, but apparently some people missed it.

Lol, I can't take anyone seriously who calls them boobies.
But what was the plot point, since I so very obviously missed it?
Thaught so.
Well i aint a fashion expert.. needs more armorplateing for my tastes.
I cant say Boobies? but.. but i love saying Boobies.. its my thing.

I was so sad, because it's a gorgeous robe otherwise, but the... circles just make it look so awful.
Well, you can say it but I'm still going to think it makes you sound like a 4th grader.
Yaaay.
Anyhoo its prety mutch simply aestetics yeah its not to my tastes but meh better than the Chasend stuff.
I think "boobs" sounds funnier than "boobies"
On topic I dislike all circle style robes, Tevinter Robes/Reaper's Vestments ftw I say. Chasind/Witch Robes looked cool enough too, though rather skimpy
I prefere funbags or Knockers myself. ![]()
I'd prefere a more personalised toutch. trousers ect.

I like my Vestments of the Seer well enough, even though it has that darn circling. I think my favourite is the Archon Robes.
prefere Morrigans stuff to be honest. and no not for the Perviness factor.
it looked personalised.
I meant looks wise (though Reaper's Vestments are pretty much the best stats wise too), Vestments of the Seer are still just green circle robes

I meant looks wise as well! The ones from Witch Hunt for female have this gorgeous gold and white panelling on the front that I love.
And the Archon robes just look classy.

I didn't like how shabby they looked, very cobblestiched together.
I prefer things more sleek and embellished.
to each there own then.
im a total tomboy i have to admit im more into the Practicality.
if mage outfits were more like.. lets say Assasans creed style id be happy.

I liked Morrigan's Robes because they looked tribal and patchwork-y but I wouldn't personally wear them because they're too girly

I didn't think they were girly at all!
