...since she is - in case she is alive - except Shepard the only being in the universe with the Memories of the Thorian and through that  - the Cypher?! An amazing source of information?

Yeah, the same crossed my mind, when I had the option to free or kill her, but wanted to arrest her, to extract all valuable info. She unified herself with him, that would mean she learned of all his memories, not only about the protheans, but about millions of years.

The question that has been bugging me in the back of my head is 'What if she turns out to be a sleeper agent of the Reapers, and we let her live?" Indoctrination is weird, and Vigil mentioned the Prothean sleeper agents. Have we doomed Feros?

Dude, Shiala's the purple one after you killed the Thorian, not the Green evil one that you had to kill anyways.

yeah, the one everyone would have chosen to have as your Asari teammate over Liara... of course, TWO Asari team mates are better than one.

Always find it interesting people seem to hate the characters I love and like the ones I hate. Makes for good reading and points of view ;p

Maybe she will be useful in 2/3. But yes, with such knowledge she should be rly important.

I was happy to meet her again on Ilium, even because there seemed to be some kind of romantic bond betweem Shepard and her. I wonder what happened to the Cypher?! The memory of an entire population should have some impact on both of them.

Probably the Cipher is being repressed by their conscious minds, only called up when necessary, or thinking about Prothean history/concepts.

oddly, in ME2 she shows up on Illium green due to a reaction to the Thorian... won't say any more though.

I don't trust her. In ME3 the spore's the Thorian planted will take root and Shiala will become the new Thorian. Perhaps I should have let that woman on Illium perform her invasive procedures.

I'm sorry I thought this was the ME2 forum.

The devs won't spend ages coding for a character that you might have killed in me1.

I'm happy that they put her in 2 mind you :)

They also might not spend ages coding the entire ME2 squad, as they can be killed too.

Only time will tell.

I say, she should be a LI for Shep to give Miranda, Ash and Tali a run for their money.

Dude Shep's a Pimp!

If you think about it, she has so much character potential. She has the cypher, she's melded with Shepard and the Thorian, she is green, and she is pretty important to Feros. And to all the people who say she won't be in it because she could have been killed, by that logic nobody from ME2 will be in it because they all have the risk of dying.

There's a difference between simply returning in the next installment and playing a major role there. They simply can't give Shiala or any other recurring NPC a major role since that character could have died in the previous ME.

I'm sure they'll bring her back in the third. Why wouldn't they?
