I think this will be the first bioware game where I just won't romance anyone, I'll be too busy managing my keeps anyway

Leliana as a Bi-sexual love interest like DA: O would have been cool. I don't think they stopped her from being a love interest because people would get angry that their Warden romanced her, "ARGH, MY LEILANA, NO ONE ELSE!".. It's a separate universe per player so it's fair game. It would have been cool if your Warden romanced her and it made her friend-zoned in DA:I for that World State. Otherwise, you could follow a romance arc with your new Inquisitor. Sadly, it's not the case and I understand. I wonder if it was lack of resources (they added Solas and Cullen when development extended), money, or time..maybe it wouldn't make sense in her role of the game. I tried her romance out in DAO but my main world state had Morrigan and Warden thru the mirrior with our baby. It was waay deeper arc that extended past the main storyline than Leliana even though I liked her too. I genuinely accept it, but she would have been my number one pick for DA:I no matter what.

No you can't have her! I wanted Leliana romance in Origins but I got bugged out of the romance!

Leliana belong with the Warden of DAO . And seriously , start with knowing them before judging them on look alone . Also Bioware is using a NEW engine . Going with a NEW style....adapt or you gonna be dissapointed . They can't keep going back..since they are moving ahead . 

 

That's true, I should get to know them first but to be perfectly honest, I am shallow. I did say I would probably try every romance (I have for the previous two games and on a side note, Mass Effect as well) but only one character appeals to me and that is the red head. Just like it was Merrill in DA:2, and Garrus in Mass Effect (The whole series, not the individual game).

Origins is a pretty good game. Check it out some time.

 

I have it both on Xbox 360 and PC but my computer is crap and broken so I basically just have it on Xbox 360. I've also played it at least 4 times, doing each romance. You're right by the way, it is a pretty good game.

Don't think josie would be an option if anyone thought it wouldn't be possible for her to have the same amount of content as every other romance. So *shrug*

 

I'm sure she has the same number of romance-oriented cut-scenes. There's more to the experience than that.

First off you have the options of both Cass and Josephine , which is 2 like almost every other orientation , Save for Straight Women which get 4.

 

Secondly , Bioware has stated if a LI was a romance option in a previous game they won't be again.

 

So you can enjoy the Leliana romance (and the rest of the DA:O ones) in Dragon Age Origins. I'd rather they keep introducing new characters and LI's then have them ever use a previous one.

Why in the world would you want the developers to put time and effort into a romance you've done in a previous game ?

 

If you want to romance Leliana again, nothings stopping you from playing DAO.

That means jack squat when the lord of Canon aka David Gaider sees fit to not even bring the Warden back for this game. For all we know, the warden canonically died and Leliana moved on and is craving companionship elsewhere!  Same for Morrigan!  This is why I still cannot believe they didn't back the Warden when they did so for the two LIs!  It creates so many problems!

Nevertheless, I'm happy about it. Some people didn't like their warden being "Forced" to put down the remaining Darkspawn in DA:A so while it would be nice to see our former protagonist, I struggle to see how they would depict our, many, many different versions of him. 

Personally, I would just slit his throat so this walking plot-hole could vanish. (The Warden)
