I'm in Neverwinter doing the Alley sweep. I need to keep Elanee back out of harm's way and casting, Neeshka sniping and Khelgar up front with my monk taking the heat. Elanee is in puppet mode so that she doesn't waste her spells.
I end up with Elanee doing nothing while I manage the others, as Khelgar keeps swopping to a ranged weapon, and Neeshka insists on going toe to toe. I'm prepared to try full puppet mode, but I need a tutorial or YouTube video on party control. I'm using Tony K's AI.

With a specific character active, open up the character sheet (press C), and switch to the last tab.  There you should find options for setting their behaviour, such as sticking with ranged or melee weapons, and what kind of spellcasting to do.  Do the same for each companion.

Thanks!  Found the Pause and Switch control and the Save button right near the bottom.  Puppet mode not needed!

Wutt? Is Pause and Switch control related to Tony K's AI?

That I'm not sure.  I always use Tony Ks AI and I have a LOT of options for player control.  I think the standard menu is more restricted.

There are a great many options for control in that Behaviour tab even in the standard game.  Some of TonyK's AI was included in later expansions.  There may be more with TonyK's mod (I don't know, since I haven't compared them), but I've been satisfied with the standard system, myself.
