Will Cassandra romance my male dwarf Inquisitor? I need to know! My pre-order is on the line here!

She'll be thinking about Varric the entire time, though, so it'll be awkward.

I... hope that is sarcasm. But I ain't here to judge.

Also, yes, Cass is romantically available to any male Inquisitor.

You, sir, just made my day.

Thus there is no point playing a male in this game. No matter how good looking or suave you are...no matter who your Male PC romances they can only think about Varric and his Chest hair. Thus play Female pcs and Romance Either Sera or Joise. Simply because if you romance any male characters your PC can't help but think about Varric, thus awkwardness.

It kinda saddens me that so many people's purchase of this game depends on whether they get their perfect romance or not. I mean, to each there own but, it's such a small part of the game and it isn't even tied into the plot. There's so much that these games offer besides the romance content.

I think (hope?) that was a joke. "Pre-order cancelled" is a meme here...

It's kinda a gaming meme in general.  I've only seen one or two posters that actually seemed serious about it.  :P

I'd only cancel my preorder if they, I dunno, changed Josephine's hair. Which obviously they wouldn't do, because that would be ridiculous. I mean, there's no way

So this is totally different than Dwarfquisitor and Cass romance pre-order cancelling.

Edit: In hindsight I realize I should probably add #sarcasm seeing how that doesn't always stand out.. .

I swear Cassandra romance is the only thing holding my pre-order right now. This game has drawn too many red flags with me already.

1. Bringing Hawke back and forcing me to stop pretending DA2 never happened.

2. Not bringing the real Original Gangster, The Warden, back.

3. Multiplayer.

4. Qunari hair styles.

5. Not being The Witcher 3.

https://sp.yimg.com/...53&pid=15.1&P=0 this is my response but i'll play along just in case this is a serious question.

Yes Cassandra is a LI for any race that is Male. But if that is seriously what is keeping your pre-order on the line.. you have some serious issues.

1. Bringing Hawke back and forcing me to stop pretending DA2 never happened. - Not sure where i stand on this. Would have been nice if both Hawke / Warden made a appearance.

2. Not bringing the real Original Gangster, The Warden, back. - Yes i'd prefer the Warden over Hawke. But the Warden is not a *Gangster* He/She is a Badass.

3. Multiplayer. - I'm neutral on this , as long as MP doesn't take away from the SP i'l fine with it.

4. Qunari hair styles. - No Problem with me here

5. Not being The Witcher 3. - That's a good thing its not Witcher 3.

TC, I wish I could buy you a beer right now.  Not because I necessarily agree with you but because I find your devotion to Cassandra to be utterly laudable.  You are a true Cassandranite.  I SALUTE YOU.

I swear Cassandra romance is the the best thing about my pre-order right now. This game has given me some things to think about already.

1. Bringing Hawke back has allowed me to appreciate DA2 more, despite some of its short-comings.

2. Not bringing the real Original Gangster, The Warden, back is good as it keeps the story focused and not forcing every cameo.

3. Multiplayer is completely optional, but it could be fun.

4. Qunari hair styles are limited as compared to other races, but I get a killer choice of horns also.

5. I have plenty of time to enjoy DAI before The Witcher 3 comes out.

I agree on all points.

those were not his responses, as I am joking with him.

The upside for male PC's is that they won't be race-gated against ^^ Cass will romance you as long as you are guy! (and get her approval high enough).

True but I hope her Romance wont be tied to supporting the Chantry because that crap aint gonna happen period I want to turn Cass against the Chantry.

Yea, it worries me little if you need to support views of your LI's to romance them. Like be pro-templar/pro-chantry with Cullen and Cass or you can't be anti-Qun or anti-Wardens to romance Iron Bull and Blackwall. It makes sense that they wouldn't like someone who doesn't support things they do but still I hope it won't become breaking point for romances.

The rival/friend romance system isn't in Inquisition.

I agree Panda I hope we wont be locked out of the romances because we dont share their beliefs/views and honestly both Cass Josie seem like the could have those type of views Pro Chantry and all that. But there in lies my problem see my Qunari Arvaas isnt an Andrastian he doesnt believe in the Maker and thinks the Chantry is a tyranical orgnization that is only controlling the populace with their religious dogma.

Granted he is shrewd, cunning & pragmatic he will use the Herald of Andraste title to further his goals but thats it he would be rid of the Chantry at the first chance available but he wont destroy what he can use.

The rival/friend romance system isn't in Inquisition.

I know but I hope we can have romances that wont require us to follow the LIs views thus I said Rival Romance we still get to romance them but get to keep our own views maybe there will be fights/arguments but no sacrificing your beliefs or views would happen.
