360 for Dragon Age (Origins-2) and PS3 for Mass Effect (1-3). Yet I always end up putting more time on the PS3,along with getting trophies thanks to the free online...shame its gone on the PS4 cause I'm getting DA:I. :(

Tbh, DA:O has a lot of bugs that aren't fixed by patches. I use mods to fix several of them, so I think you're missing out if you play on console. DA2 didn't seem to have as many noticeable bugs, though.

It isn't needed. If you want xp or money or a specific item, then just enable the developer's console and enter the appropriate commands. Additionally, if you want an item that has certain properties, you can build it with the Winterforge mod. More to the point, I tend to abuse the universal dye kit in a brazen and shameless manner. All of the PC Warden's armour, clothing and weaponry must be coordinated.

It's an old-school-inspired tactical RPG that thrives with a tactical camera that allows you to easily issue out commands, quickly pick any of 10 abilities at the press of a button, and keep other abilities on-screen without clogging up the interface. Combine that with a heavy text focus, both in reading codexes and simply picking your response, and PC is the natural fit.

That's not even getting into mods, which allow you to fix the game's numerous bugs (to be expected from a large RPG), as well as further customise whatever else you like.

PC for all games. Vanilla for first playthrough(s) in respect of the developers vision. Then add mods as they become available for subsequent playthroughs. Started replaying DA:O in August following the announcement of DA:I's imminent release. I won't be pre-ordering.

PC

I don't own a television nor do I plan to purchase one.  Ditto for consoles.  Fixing bugs via player crafted mods (see Skyrim) is one of the other appeals of PC games.  You can even tweek cosmetics that annoy you and I think that's grand.  This was unfortunately negated by the ME bit because it was built for console, then transferred.  Annoying.

I played them all on the 360. However, Bioware did a very poor job porting DAO to the console, the controls are clunky, the UI is poor and ugly compared to the PC's. Also you can only have 10 character in the save roster ( that includes DLC) which is a damn shame (and they never bothered to patch the limit). Plus the graphics are so awful that it's probably one of the ugliest games on the console. PC is clearly the way to go if you want the full experience, that and mods.

Have only every played it on 360. Just recently bought Mac and found Nirvana (here) and Nexus mods head explodes from joy... Unfortunately my Mac isn't suitable so saving for gaming comp to revel in all modding goodness. Love and gratitude to all you moders out there.

Having played both console and PC versions to completion, PC is miles better. Not only was the game design with PC in mind, with a great UI and the tactical camera, it also has somewhat decent modding community which fixed multiple flaws in the game. Such as great mods like personal annoyance remover and dialog fix, small things like this go a long way to making a game great. It's a shame BW and EA are no longer actively supporting modding.
