Warriors:

Champion - Warrior as a battle-commander, boosts party morale and can stun/demoralize the enemy.

Templar - Non-magical magic targeted towards combating mages and their spells.

Berserker - The angrier the warrior gets, the stronger and more resilient that they become.

Reaver - Debuffing and demoralizing enemies by cutting themselves.

Guardian - Warrior focusing on bolstering the defenses of the party.

Spirit Warrior - Warrior who uses Fade energy to inflict spirit damage upon enemies.

Juggernaut - Unused specialization in Dragon Age 2, possibly a tougher tank.

Rogues:

Bard - Buffing your party and debuffing your enemies with the power of song.

Ranger - Rogue who summons animals as an additional support for the party as diversions and tanks.

Assassin - Rogue whose backstabbing and critical hit threat is further increased.

Duelist - Rogue whose more capable of going toe-toe with foes through pinpoint damage and dexterity.

Legionnaire - A Rogue whose tough enough to play the role of a tank.

Shadow - Rogue that's greater with concealment, diversion and ambush tactics.

Artificer - Engineering Trap-Master.

Tempest - Quick Alchemist who wreathe themselves in elemental concoctions such as fire

Mages:

Shapeshifter - Mages can now turn into a killer rabbit (exaggeration, but you get the point) and murder people.

Arcane Warrior - Self-buffing Mage whose capable of wielding weapons (without access to weapon talents without mods) and wearing armor with the constitution requirements substituted by the magic score.

Spirit Healer - Specialized Healer whose focused on keeping the party alive through healing and revitalizaiton.

Blood Mage - A mage who can use bloodbending outside of a full moon. Also allows them to cast spells from their health.

Battle Mage - A mage who focuses on offensive spellcasting, particularly through elemental prowess.

Keeper - Nature oriented Debuffer mage.

Arc Mage - Unused specialization from Dragon Age 2, perhaps similar to the Battle Mage.

Force Mage - Mages who attack and debuff enemies with the almighty power of gravity.

Rift Mage - Drawing upon raw Fade energy to attack and weaken enemies.

Knight Enchanter - Reworked focus that's supposed to be similar to the Arcane Warrior.

Necromancer - Weaponizing death and debuffing enemies by making them see (and possibly fight) dead people.

Anything else to add?

Are there any NPC classes out there that aren't available to pcs or companions?

Funny Thing about the Arcane Warrior...

It is the name for one of the Multiplayer classes and the Arcane Warrior's Specalization is Knight Enchanter...

Warriors:

Reaver - Cannibalistic badass that relishes in pain and suffering. Dishes out the double of what's taken. Oh, and dragon blood.

Caronel, a Fereldan elf Warden stationed at Weisshaupt is an Arcane Warrior. It's super rare, but not dead. There's also the Cultist Overseer and the Arcane Warrior from the Proving in DA:O.

That was dead specialization that no one had access.

Yeah super rare now apart from the fact dalish , tevinter mages and now circle mages know that what pretty much means that every major group of mages in thedas have access to that.

that is part of descrption of arcane warrior "Most consider these skills lost forever, but they may still linger in forgotten corners of the world."

Caronel wasn't a Circle Mage. He was from an Alienage. Dalish find lost Elvhen lore. It's what they do. Tevinter (Minrathous) is the capital of magic on Thedas. And Knight Enchanter is NOT Arcane Warrior.

Anything else you'd like to ****** about?

Well Knight Enchanter is a type of art used by Arcane Warriors.

I just hope they explain how the Knight Enchanter art became part of the Arcane Warriors way of fighting.

Source? And to me no it isn't. AW half-step into the Fade. KE brings the Fade to them. There's a functional difference.

I wasn't talking about him when i was talking about cirlce mages?Cricle mages have KC what pretty much now is the same... Yeah they find knowledge that was lost and locked for almost everyone... and no if "capital of magic on thedas" have access it isn't rare at all and don't  "linger in forgotten corners of the world.".So yes you failed you gave excuses why they have when they should because as i said it was suppose to be forgotten.

Like I said Knight Enchanter isn't Arcane Warrior. Knight Enchanter summons energy from the Fade. Arcane Warriors Fade-Walk and that's where their powers come from. There's a huge difference. Arcane Warrior is Somniari/Uthenera type magic. Knight Enchanter isn't.

RIP Ranger.

You were entertaining while you lasted.

This would've been a great game for it too, I think. With an open world, you could incorporate a lot more animal taming/simulation gameplay.

Ah well, hope it comes back again one day.

That'd be pretty cool, actually. Rather than just having 3 preset animals to summon, we could actually go around wrangling various creatures ourselves.

Oooh, and maybe a Ranger-exclusive bear mount. Yuss.

I miss the Spirit Warrior specialization. There was nothing more awesome than turning all glowy and slicing up demons.
