Hi,

 

As the title says, I would like to register the Collector's Edition for DA:O (PC). There's currently only two options for the PC: the normal edition and the Ultimate edition.

 

I've registered using both of those links with success. However, every time I want to view the Player Profile it just directs me to an empty page.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I should be doing?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I've played the game with my account logged in. The link still leads to an empty page.

 

The only difference is when I click on Online Profile in the game it leads me to the "Profile Not Found." page first. Any link to the Profile Page of DA:O that would show my achievements and characters etc. is blank.

That's because profile uploads have been disabled for preparation in use with the keep.

While I really do hope that the read-only means that there's no data being shown, I believe my problem is deeper than that.

 

When I said it was blank or empty, I meant the whole page being empty. No headers, footers, side bar menu, background and content. Just a blank white page. So I'm thinking that it might not be the Read-Only restriction that's causing it, with the absence of the skeleton of the page. Since the only difference that I could see was that there was no link to register DA:O Collector's Edition, I'm hoping that is the issue. Hopefully that clears up what I meant (apologies for not making it clear in the first place).

 

If I remember correctly, this problem occurred pre-DA:Keep. Around the time DA2 came out I registered both DA2 and DA:O and only DA:O had this problem. At first I thought it was still uploading to the servers and would take time to appear on BSN. I guess I forgot all about it until now

The blank page usually means the page bombed.  However, in this case, the read only situation maybe the cause.  I could see the possibility where the site expects your player data and found none and so it just crashed.

I hope you're right. I'll wait for the Read-Only status to be lifted and report back.

So, after chatting with EA support they deduced that it was a problem on BSN's end after seeing the same thing I was seeing. I'm happy to report that they fixed it and I can finally see my DA:O page. Yay!
