Will the game have a flag for a Qunari born hornless? They're supposed to be considered scary looking by normal horned Qunari, so I wonder if the fact that you were born hornless will be addressed when dealing with Qunari that follow the Qun.

I doubt it since it is a cosmetic change, like having red hair or darker skin.

It'd be cool if other qunari pointed it out, like Iron Bull, but I doubt the game will be able to tell the difference.

I'm sure they'll react to a horny quanri Inquisitor, so when it comes to the reverse... ;)

Yes, there are hornless Qunari Inquisitors. I've seen the option during the livestream in the CC, if I'm not wrong...

Different styls (even broken ones) and hornless as well.

I think this, too.  There will probably be plenty of responses about the Inquisitor being a Qunari, just not about him/her being hornless or not.

It would be kind of cool if the Iron Bull and perhaps some other qunari you meet in the world are a little nervous around a hornless Inquisitor when they first meet them... they are more intimidating to other qunari in the lore, so it would be nice to see that reflected in the game, even if it's very minor (like avoiding eye contact or fidgeting around).  With a party member like Iron Bull, there should be a brief dialogue about it, and after which he gradually stops acting strangely around the Inquisitor... not gonna happen, ofc, but it would be interesting.

One theory is that it is more in line with how we ourselves view people who are bald as slightly intimidating - I call it the "Heisenberg Effect" (wink wink). Someone without hair (who is not ill or old) is seen as a person sending a signal or making a statement. Likewise a hornless Qunari, or even one who broke his or her horns, has that type of effect turned on permanently.

Another  theory is that in a society with a majority of people with horns there would also be a stigma or bias directed towards those without. Lastly, there is my personal theory that Koslun, the Qunari prophet, was himself hornless and so his image is evoked by similarly afflicted Qunari.

It might be similar to long-hair badassery, only in reverse.
Long hair in close quarters combat is a liability, it gives the enemy something to grab and throw you off-balnce. Having long hair despite that shows that you have confidence in your abilities such that you feel you can defeat them even with this advantage.
Presumably inter-Kossith combat employs horns (because if you're not using the giant spikes on your head your doing something wrong) so cutting them off shows you have sufficient confidence in your ability to not need horns.
That's at least what it started as, eventually it became a part of the culture, and so they associate the two, and started lopping off saarebas horns.

This is correct. It will be possible to make a hornless qunari inquisitor. It was revealed via the twitch stream of the character creator.

Maybe they don't react because "hornless" in the CC still shows some remnants, they were removed. So hornless Qunquisitor wasn't born that way unlike Sten

I am not too sure about that, since at least two hornless hairstyles has hair growing out of area where horns used to be. I don't think think that would be possible if they were simply removed.

They all have black spots/bumps as far as I saw, so they all "used to" have horns. If you can have a true hornless that'd be cool for the people who want that, though my clever explanation wouldn't work then.

Arent the darker spots on the head more meant to mean  "Here would grow some horns but they didnt develop", rather than "They got cut out"

*Runs hand along one of his horns* Bah, if I know anything from these humans. It's that these beauties terrify many of their kind. Besides, didn't I hear there was once an Arishok in the city of Kirkwall? Didn't he have horns? ;) He mustn't been very scary, despite all the terrified talk.
